Polaroid + Beggar (the follower) + IV.
Every time you go down to a half a heart, you get the shield. Then you can spam the IV constantly for about 4 seconds.
Then the beggar drops hearts, Balls of Steel pills, and cards that heal you.
Then you repeat.
I have more soul hearts than I will ever need.

Well the green projectiles keep arcing over the enemies and I always find myself getting killed by my own green shit. It's only upside is that I can use it to find secret rooms easy.

Actually, they're not as bad as much as they're situational.
Kamikaze can be very useful with eve, or combined with wafer/the chariot.
My reflection can be god tier with the lump of coal and enough range up items.

Fetus in a jar requires you to beat the second final boss seven time, and IPECAC is a wrath of the lamb item.
They're very fun, I'm sure you'll run into them eventually. If you want the fetus in a jar there's a challenge that lets you start with it in wrath of the lamb.
On cellar 1 as Samson I found Dr Fetus in the item room, then Epic Fetus in the secret room. Solved that.
Then my ???? Run I found Stigmata, Halo, Blood of the Matyr, Chemical Peel, Pentagram, Small Rock, Lump of Coal SMB Super Fan.

I always seem to bump into SMB Super Fan on all of my runs.
I'm not complaining though, it's awesome.

Kinda weird that it lowers your speed. I don't get that at all. SMB is a fast action platformer, so wouldn't it increase it?
IPECAC is a fantastic item against bosses.
Against mobs, it mostly serves to fucking kill yourself.
Homing IPECAC is god tier though.

I picked up Bob's Curse and it had no effect on Mega Fetus. The explosions were green, but they didn't poison anything.
I'm pretty sure the only thing that increases explosive damage is Mr. Mega, and I'm not even sure if that influences Mega Fetus or IPECAC because they aren't the same bomb object that is spawned when pressing Shift/E or when using Fetus in a Jar.
