In other news I finally unlocked the Shears after 50hrs of play.
Is it strange to find the challenges easier than normal play? I've completed the game 3 times in a row from the Dr Fetus challenge and the Spider challenge.

With certain challenges you know exactly which set of items you'll end up using, not to mention starting with Dr Fetus or the Quadshot/Slow tears will set up up for the rest of the game too.
So no, it's not really strange at all.

It's known that due to time constraints and problems with publishing certain code in Actionscript 2 that Ed had to put off with a few features that were meant to come out in WotL so it's possible that this Wretched boss will make an appearance later through that special treat he mentioned a little while ago, along with some more fixes.

so i was killing mom's heart for the fourth time and got the devil room
i had the nail, 7 max hp, 3 soul hearts, ipecac, liberty cap, habit/item martyr, treasure map, heels, chemical peel and sacred heart so i just said fuck it and dived
it turns out satan < explosions :v:
also i unlocked three endings in one run (#3 for mom's heart, #4 for satan and #11 for first satan defeat)

I don't feel like turning the remainder of the game into a ceaseless grind like I did with Golden God. I'm just going to play as a random character each time instead of simply playing as Isaac with the D6 every single time
Mutant Spider, Celtic Cross, Ghost Baby, D20, Spider Butt, Sacrificial Knife, and Rainbow Baby are the only ones that remain.
So when you unlock It Lives, does the game also unlock "Make every item you get from here on out complete shit, and completely ruin all fun you've been having with the game" mode or something?
Because that's what happened to my game.
I played through challenges 7 and 8, and both of them got hijacked by me finding epic fetus in a secret room. If you get high speed, or better yet, a flying item with that, the game might as well hand you an automatic win.

Good luck, those are some of the rarest items you can find in my experience.
Edit: Also, you don't need to find Ghost Baby. I'm not even sure if it's supposed to be in the game yet.

apparently we're gonna find out who the wretched is very soon. patch is coming tonight or tomorrow according to Edmund's formspring, that will fix wretched and gurdy jr not showing up as bosses.
Patch just went live.
