The Secret Rooms are always connected to three. Although they have been harder to find since the DLC came out because if it's connected to a Secret-Secret room, then it might only be connected to 2 visible rooms on the map.
If it's only connected to two rooms, bomb the wall where the third room should be. There will always be a Secret-Secret room there.

I had about 2 hearts, and I've never faced him before, and got him split in two and then killed me.
Don't know about you but fast moving demon who can hurt you by a heart each and only have 2 hearts doesn't leave much for error. Not to mention I only have 9 hours of gameplay.

I started another run with Isaac. I really, really hoped for Epic Fetus, and when I found the secret room, guess what I found?
Needless to say, I beat [sp]Isaac[/sp] with virtually no effort at all.
Tech 2 and the mulligan stack well together. Every few seconds of lasering an enemy, a fly appears.
Also, is the power of golden room items supposed to increase the further you go down the levels? I found Lemon Mishap in the damn Necropolis, directly before the Mom fight

I hate getting bad item dropa from the Fallen. Im always expecting good like Moms Knife or the Mark to show up. But i always find stuff like the dead cat or the ouija board.

Having spectral tears has become more useful with the prevalence of flight items, but at the same time it becomes less useful because of the 2 flight items that grant spectral tears as well.
No idea why some of those things are so common. I've yet to find the Noose since WotL came out and yet I've found Spirit of the Night or Dead Dove almost every other playthrough.
Spirit of the night and dead dove are horribly designed items.
Having flight and spectral tears gives you the ability to attack on rocks (1 rock is enough to not get hit)
They're designed just fine. They're just too easy to get.

i started a run as eve (i only have 6 wins, btw) and the run started really shitty, but i kept on going
i found absolutely no health ups, 1 damage up and a couple fire rate ups
on the depths 2, i found a slot machine that just kept on giving me soul hearts. with these soul hearts i was able to blast my way through the womb and easily kill mom's heart
thats when i thought the run would end.
the devil room appeared and i was able to go right into Sheol. once i was in there i started fucking shit up with 3 dollar bill and i fucking murdered Satan
christ, the part with Satan where he stomps his feet was exciting

There are some bugs with floor generation, it's extremely likely that there was one of those inescapable rooms adjacent to that.
