why don't they have noses
yeah, its really weirds me out too
I got the urge to play it again in 1999 mode. But at the same time [sp]I already know everything that happened and it's kinda holding me back[/sp]
when i beat 1999 mode on my second playthrough, the ending fucked up. [sp]as soon as i opened the last door i transported into being underwater and drowning but nobody was drowning me. no priests or elizabeths. just open door, suddenly drowning. i was like damnit i wanted to experience the ending again and u FUCKED IT UP FOR ME GAME[/sp]
So here this other day I was wondering why I was so tired of Bioshock Infinite. Looked at steam library, turns out I've played it for 35 hours :S

It's equally as fun playing through a second time as you can see all the little clues they left around that foreshadow what happens.
Just finished.
Woah. Love this game even more so now.
so, does stealing actually do anything to the end of the game or not
because some tool tip said that SHIT WOULD HAPPEN MAN but i stole plenty of hamburgers out of briefcases and i didn't notice shit

Stealing from registers and nicking money in general from places like the stores on the boardwalk or shantytown hovels brings down the raging fist of ice cream clerks and homeless hungry people alike.
As for affecting the ending: [sp] No, it does nothing[/sp]
So... There was a 10mb patch.
The [sp]tesla coils[/sp] felt kinda out of place tbh
It's becouse they were

Sort of the point
I'm playing, and whenever I get on a skyline thing, Elizabeth either doesn't get on or she stays on it, going round and round till I load the next part of the level.
Hah pretty cool thing someone found:

[sp]Thing about both of 'em is they're about time, time catching up. One is catching up to me, other is catching up to us.[/sp]
Is Bioshock 2 worth playing? From what I heard it is a lazily made sequel. I only played an hour of it and quit after it corrupted my save file for some reason.
It's a good game. The story isn't as strong as the first game's, but the gameplay is better for the most part. I still wish you didn't play as a Big Daddy though.
Oh jesus, I didn't know that I could use possession on the vending machines to get dosh.
Oh jesus, I didn't know that I could use possession on the vending machines to get dosh.
For me even worse... I thought I'm getting some sort of discount if I use it on them. Wasted possession, purchased some stuff, off I go. Didn't notice there's money on the floor until very ending of the game -_-
Sort of the point
they weren't out of place in a good way, either, they only really appeared as a tear ability late into the game.
wish they did more with them
Oh jesus, I didn't know that I could use possession on the vending machines to get dosh.
Lol I only get about $10-$15 at most doing that, sometimes only 1 coin... even though there's a pile there.
I literally cannot stop listening to the "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" 1912 version, it's just so fucknig well done and fits the game more than it deserves

I found the gameplay to be better than BS 1,(streamlined hacking, more enemy types, dat drill) but the story worse. The corrupted save file thing can be fixed by deleting your autosave every so often.
I can say that Bioshock 3 kinda disappointed me.
Why? They took out too many good features like:
- Hacking (now It's pick locks and Elizabeth.)
- Flying Turrets (I've notice maybe two times in the whole game)
- Upgrading guns (there is no visual effect of what you upgrade - look Bioshock 1)
- Lack of upgrading skills by other currency (Bioshock 1 and 2 had adam)
System Shock 2 > Bioshock > Bioshock Infinite > Bioshock 2
and that's how it goes okay

also I feel bad for you because you'll be dumbvoted into oblivion because you're going against the popular vote
I feel you, Infinite is good but the first one's an objectively better game I'd say, I do miss all those little mechanics

I'm stating what I feel. The game itself is fine (not fantastic but fine) ... just those things I miss.

So you think you should be able to loot a random weapon in all of Columbia and it have the very specific upgrade you gave it?
So you think you should be able to loot a random weapon in all of Columbia and it have the very specific upgrade you gave it?
You misunderstood me. The VISUAL effect. Not random loot.

Just because it's against popular vote doesn't mean it's anymore valid than those of us who think that those things he listed don't devalue the game or how fun or good it is at all.
So you think you should be able to loot a random weapon in all of Columbia and it have the very specific upgrade you gave it?
That's just the same system as in BS I, the only thing in BS I is that the model doesn't change. YOu get + clip size and + accuracy and - recoil for every weapon you find.
Was there a small patch? logged on and my game downloaded 10mgs.
You misunderstood me. The VISUAL effect. Not random loot.
I didn't misunderstand you, I know what you're talking about.
Loot means pickup or steal, I meant guns looted from dead enemies or storage.
