Anyone else find it interesting that there were female soldiers even though the city is so religious and traditional? Did they ever explain that in the voxophones or something? It seemed remarkably equal of them considering all the other extremist beliefs they have.

I think because the religion depicted in the game is a fictional one (It has its roots in Christianity, but it's clearly more about the Prophet than it is about God), it works out pretty well. They worship a man that has brought them immense technology and a bountiful life, and while Comstock has brought his racist morals with him, he seems remarkably keen on equality between gender.

So, did some more work on my project tonight. Most likely going with Elizabeth/Booker for the anamorphic illusion (though perhaps Rapture/Columbia is more appropriate), but I decided to...embellish the top of the model. So, that said, shitty (but to scale) 3dsmax mock-up ahoy!

It its simplest, it's an anamorphic illusion, which is essentially an image created to be viewed at a certain perspective. Something like this:

With what I'm doing, one side is representative of Rapture, the other of Columbia, and the illusion in the center (which is just a placeholder texture right now) will take focus based on what side you're looking at.
I just recently beat the game. Glad I stuck around after the credits.
I thought it was a great game all around, definitely the strongest gameplay of all the other Bioshock games. But that's just my opinion, seeing as the skyhook is fucking awesome

The songbird seems far too large to be an actual person. Unless they have a handyman thing going on.
