What if some of the DLC involves you [sp]stealing thinks out of tears for Fink, like maybe actually having to retrieve samples of plasmids from Rapture.[/sp]
I like Ken Levine. He's one of those creators that no one can honestly hate.
On that subject, Irrational Games is definitely one of the few studios I'd love to visit. I don't think they do tours though.
— Ken Levine (@IGLevine) February 21, 2013 I’m sensitive to DLC concerns, but If you never play the DLC, you will have a 100% complete story experience with Infinite alone.
I don't know if I'm gonna get any DLC but I like that they pointed this out.
[sp]Which would mean that the universes are infinite which makes the story of the game fucking pointless. Everything happens somewhere so saving New York by drowning Booker is just chosing the happy Universe which is, again, quite selfish since Anna KNOWS that the other universes still happen.[/sp] [editline]6th April 2013[/editline] The more I think about the game the less I like it compared to BS 1. Columbia and all of its design is so...pointless for the story.
Yep, that's the hype wearing off. It's still a good game, but the lustre of newness and hype eventually goes away. It happens with all games, it's not a bad thing; if it's used correctly by devs it can help make even better sequels.
anyone know where is the key? that on police station right before [sp]you find chen tools[/sp] http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/867216269173667176/3B91C9FBFD4B468023DA6F8DAB676CB3011671FE/ also what is the tumbnails tag?
Part of it is hype winding down and part of it is some people have been looking for reasons to dislike the game from the start.
The point is that these reasons can be found. And it's not "dislike". It's far from that. I'm sure the people you're talking about will tell you that too.
The point is that these reasons can be found. And it's not "dislike". It's far from that. I'm sure the people you're talking about will tell you that too.
Whatever you think, there are people like that. They like Bioshock 1 so much, they don't think BI should be called Bioshock. They hate Ken Levine. They hate the Irrational Games. Fuck, they hate the sky, women sidekicks, whatever. And these people are usually very vocal about it. And of course they would say they have "proper reasons" to hate the game, who would listen to them if they admitted they just hate the game for whatever reason. Rabid fans are vocal, that's for sure, but haters, as much as I hate that word, tend to be even more so.
It depends, are you looking for these "Problems", or are you noticing them? if you're looking for them, then you must be a sad, sad man.
I notice them when I think about the concepts of BS I. That's the nature of problems. They pop up. I'd be happy if I couldn't notice them. Would be an easier life. I'd be happy with what I'm presented. But I doubt Levine would like fans who just accept everything. That's boring. That's not challenging, not creative.
Not sure If this counts as a spoiler.
I don't know if I'm gonna get any DLC but I like that they pointed this out.
I wonder if that suggest that the DLC's [sp]won't involve anything more about Booker or Elizabeth, except for mentioning them in the background.[/sp]
I want to explore more of Columbia with Elizabeth without people trying to kill me. More sequences like Battleship bay would be welcome.
Gotta be Songbird. They just can't use him in almost any promotional video ever and then leave us the way BS I uses him right now. That's just unfair. To Sonbird and us.
The loading music reminded me of this I miss playing this game...
This seems to come up over and over again, so I thought I'd make a visual on why [sp]killing Comstock at the baptism erases him at all points while it saves Booker.[/sp] Spoilers, obviously.
Well both The Ship's music and Bioshock's loading music is inspired by Scott Joplin.

That doesn't make sense. There's either a limited amount of alternate universes and we'd have no problem at all because she could just go to each universe and fix everything or there is an unlimited amount of universes, including the one we are playing, with all switches and loops and INCLUDING ONE WHERE BOOKER MADE THE WHOLE GAME BUT DOESN'T GET DROWNED and the whole plot is pointless because she just created two more alternate universes additionally to the already unlimited amount we had before.[/sp]
secretly irrational games are baptists.

You keep saying the same thing over and over again. This is why the game brought along the concept of [sp]constants and variables. According to the game, some things are set in stone, others are not.[/sp]
Part of it is hype winding down and part of it is some people have been looking for reasons to dislike the game from the start.
True, there are always people like that. I just wish people wouldn't take any critique as some sort of personal attack against them. I don't know how many times it has to be said that it's a good game with some issues before people realize that's not taking a dump on the whole thing.

I think a split is created whenever a decision is made. But only some decisions. I dunno, they're playing with very funny rules.[/sp]
Nous allons à Paris
Hey, the Luteces brought [sp]Booker back to retrieve Elizabeth/Anna so that they could be again right? I mean, there were no other motives such as killing Comstock etc...?[/sp]

I mean, there were no other motives such as killing Comstock etc...?[/sp]
[sp]I'm pretty sure the Lutece's main motive was to kill Comstock and make things "right", since he attempted to off them like his Wife, and in doing so they got split across timelines, took Booker from his timeline to Comstock's, to "reunite" Father and Daughter I guess[/sp].
[sp]Male Lutece wanted to close a loop they created by bringing Liz into another universe.[/sp]
That too.
God this game has the best story of any triple-A title in a long time.
Just completed the game. Wow Woooooow
