X-2 was balls. I just don't understand ANY of it.
Also, Catnip + Trigger Happy makes the game way too fucking easy.
I only have played the demo and all I can tell you is that people say is one of the best so play it.
If you only like FF7, you won't like it.
It's cheap as shit now anyway, so you don't lose much money if you don't like it.
VI is the best.
6 and 9 are the best hands-down.
12 is also good.

I like how no one even bothered to rate XIII.
My favourite FF wgame was FF1 on the GBA (was away on holiday and had never played a FF game), didn't enjoy 2 as much and I'm now playing through FF3 on my Pandora (snes9x) which has been incredible so far. I think I will try and play all the FF games in order.
IX is easily the best of the series.

I played FFX but I didn't really like it. I prefer FFIX or VIII.
It's middle of the ground. Worse (to me) then classics like 4 and 6. But better than the ones I disliked like 2, 8, X-2, and 12.
Play it just to kill Seymour off and listen to one of Uematsu's best boss tracks ever while doing so.

Nope. After you've beat the final boss, killing Penance and such requires countless hours of grinding to achieve 5 guys @75,000HP, 255 in every stats & 200 in Luck.
I'm a big fan of both FFVII and FFX.
FFX-2 was a load of shit.
