So has Black Ops 2 not had a single patch yet or are they just not announced on steam when they're released? I just really want that but that makes me have to play SP in offline mode fixed asap.

Today, I appeared to upset a kid in Free-For-All on Standoff. I saw him die because of a camper, to which he complained, "AW, I HATE CAMPERS." It was in the house across from the warehouse - so I clean the place out, leave, come back, and find him camping on the stairs. I'm usually okay with getting rid of campers, so I quickly plug some KSG slugs into him and move to the upper floor. "OH MY GOD HOW DID YOU FIND ME YOU HACKER" A lot of people online get called hackers and it's not necessarily because they're good - I mean I'm nowhere near unbeatable or anything - it's because the guys calling people hackers are just so terrible at the game that they can't accept they've lost, and so they have to come up with some excuse to help them cope. And it's hilarious. I remember literally playing my first game of CS:S on a Gun-Game server and being accused of wallhacks. I also remember playing TF2 for one of my first sessions and being called out for wallhacks again despite having more deaths than kills. It's ridiculous - I'm not even a good player most of the time in video games. Decent, maybe, but not amazing.

I always get rusty old men, never kids. I do good but they compliment me instead of calling me a hacker. I want to make a kid mad, not get help from some middle aged man

Is it just me or does the Remington seem to miss a lot more shots? I've hit people at point blank while aiming down the sights yet still only getting hitmarkers with it lately. Same setup as I normally use too.

^the 870? it's a piece of shit, don't use it. in fact, don't use shotguns in BO2 at all. in fact, don't use shotguns in any COD past MW2, unless it's the 1887 in MW3. also i swear the people i play with are in their 40s, they sound so damn old and i can't help but think "the fuck are you doing on a game made for kids?"

They're probably playing the copy of Blops 2 they bought their kid, after their kid lost interest in to play something else.

Shotguns wreck absolute shit in this game. Especially the 870.

Well at least mine WAS good at close range, now I'm getting more hitmarkers than one-shot kills at close ranges even with long barrel. I went through so many matches in Hijacked where I take two or three shots to kill someone in the same room as me.

All the time I get shotgun duals that I get two shots off on them and they one-shot me. Then again I've been out of my game for almost every aspect lately. I've even been forgetting that I got an axe with the shotgun. When I do remember they are really off the mark. Guess I just need to get back into the flow of things.

Speaking of shotties, am I the only one who can't seem to like the S12? It lacks oomph, and I think that's all.

It's just that's it's the easiest weapon to use in the entire game. The KSG is the exact opposite. One of the hardest weapons to use, but in the right hands (and given that nobody has a bad ping) it's so incredibly powerful. I was in a game the other day where two prestige masters were wrecking everybody with KSGs. They had a (carrier) ratio of 5 and 6 (more like 20+ in this one game) and kept headshotting people from insane ranges. They weren't hacking but damn did they get called hackers. They were pretty cool guys too, most were marines or otherwise affiliated with the military. A minute or so later a woman spoke over the microphone and I asked what her relation to the young man on Xbox was, she replied that she was his mother. I told her about her son cheating and the normal protocol for such things as a person at my level and said "I'm real sorry but I have to report cheaters its my job". However I said I could make an exception if she gave her son a long, hard talk about why cheating is wrong. She said that it wouldn't happen again and that she would talk to her son about what happened. I thanked her with some cheesy line "I would like to say I hope to not talk to you again, but it has been lovely talking to you" (she didn't know how to respond) and that was the end of it. Minutes later I got a friend request from the person I had just talked to and he told me that his friend said that he was going to report me for using a riot shield. I first pretended to not know who it was, but then got confused over what he meant by riot shield, once he corrected himself by saying "assault shield" I went on to tell him how his friend was wrong and that I want to look him up in the system, so I requested his gamertag. He said that it was really hard to spell and started reading it out, really slowly. About halfway through I said hold up I just gotta get a pen. I told him to start from the start again, and he did, struggling and slowly. Halfway in again I said "sorry I just gotta grab some paper", so he stopped and started again. I thought I'd push my luck and go one more time and tell him the pen didn't work so he stopped and once again started to read the name out again. I interrupted him after he said the first 2 letters and said I had his profile up on my laptop. He sent me a friend request and I accepted it until he left, then deleted it. He rejoined and said that I wasn't on his friend's list so I told him "thats normal for some one like me, I have to add a lot of people who cheat so I can track them, just add me again and it might come through". Two tries later he had given up so I went back to playing.

The only real difference between the 870 and the KSG is the KSG has better range but higher chance to miss thanks to using slugs. It gets so many one shot kills I couldn't imagine it ever being called hard to use.

I've stood behind a group of two people who were unaware I was there, fired off two-3 slugs nigh point blank [i]standing still[/i] which all failed to hit somehow, then one of the group wheeled round and sprayed me with the KAP-40 and killed me. Inversely, I've also had kills where my iron-sights/RDS clearly aren't over someone, but I still get a hit marker and a kill. Mind you, I play on Xbox and the servers/lobbies have been awful this week, I've had more disconnects or horrendously laggy games than before.

I'm gonna use the first shotgun when I get it, it's my favorite. I also got hardline because I'm racking up killstreaks unlock some titles.

Go for lightweight or ghost(flak jacket if you're pissed at explosions/want survive longer), cold blooded and dexterity. Long barrel + reflex or quickdraw. C4, concussions, sidearm is optional. [editline]9th March 2013[/editline] Also lately I've found the SCAR-H to be a load of fun. Because of the massive damage wallbanging people is hilarious, so I run MMS + stock/extended mag combo on it. It's also really accurate in short bursts and can kill really fast. It needs a lot of accuracy though. The AN-94 is almost the same on steroids though, I know it lacks the damage but it has the 2 round fast burst and 40 dmg on a relatively long range. I always tend to favor the high damage, slow RoF guns :v: OOMPH is what I want. [editline]9th March 2013[/editline] Oh and SMR with Target Finder and Supressor, HNNGH I LOVE IT.

I've been toying around with the FAL, and I'm pleasantly surprised: it needs absolutely no attachment to be good. I tried everything, and nothing made it better than the base weapon. More points to spend on perks! [t]http://i.imgur.com/BgZY13Y.jpg[/t] This is the class I've been using, and it's easily one of the best classes I played with so far. Gunning people down left and right without even thinking about it. And I even got my second ever quad feed with it :v: There was a challenge for getting to quad feeds apparently.
