my classes are "custom class 1" through "custom class 8"
it's because typing on xbox sucks shit
I have one named class, they call him "the janitor".
Mine are:
Charlie
Dee
Mac
Dennis
Frank
I need to find a way to get kills faster. Match below I was running from everyone and in the end I only got 24 kills

all my classes are named after old spice body wash scents

My riot shield class is called odor blocker. Odor isn't the only thing it blocks.
What scorestreaks do you guys use? I usually use the UAV, Dragonfire and AGR. The controllable scorestreaks are so much fun, but barely anyone uses them.
usually uav, death machine and warthog
if I'm feeling lucky I toss in a lodestar.

Usually UAV, X, lightning strike, where X is something like a hellstorm, counter UAV, or sentry gun. Just recently I started running UAV, C-UAV, and AGR and that works fairly well.

UAV
RC-XD
Lightning Strike
lightning strikes are so damn annoying. The worst thing is when they kill your streak.
I'm going to get blue balls before I get a blood thirsty with JUST the crossbow
Crossbow with ACOG
Lightweight
Scavenger
Dexterity
Concussive Grenade x2
Shock Charge x2
I used that on Carrier and just camped where snipers peak out and got it without picking up a pack.
Honestly, it didn't take me too long to get it once I knew where people would pop up. I only have to kill someone with a car to get gold now. I got the 3 kills with one clip by accident while shooting people in spawn on Hijacked since I use it with my shotgun.
Mine consists of UAV, Hunter Killer and Lightning Strike.
I can't bother to put higher scorestreaks since I'm awful in terms of survival.

same here
i did have this one day though where i had about a 12 kill streak randomly
Am I the only one who registered to Elite just for some extra items? :v

I hate controlled scorestreaks, because I can't run around on the map.
Even the stealth chopper I don't like too much because you have to place it on your ipad. I mostly run uav, vsat, warthog for this reason.
No I don't want to take the time to throw a hunter killer that will get one kill, in the meantime I can go to a place where I will kill two people with my gun. No I don't want to place a guardian that will get destroyed in about a quarter of a second because EMP grenades.

I will probably start using the escort drone more when I unlock it this prestige, it seems pretty good at watching your back.
here's the thing about AGRs:
they always do better when you aren't controlling them
so don't
[editline]11th March 2013[/editline]
also you can shoot instead of standing there like a vegetable
Why control them anyways? Takes you out of the game.
Apparently the maximum amount of AGRs on the map is 2 :<
I found this out trying to throw a third one into the fray along with my other 2.
I liked Call of Duty 1, CoD4 and CoD2. Best CoD multiplayers in that order imo.
AGRs are pretty much mobile sentry guns, so god damn annoying when the enemy gets one.
Speaking of sentry guns, I hate it when the enemy tosses one in the back of your base on CTF [although maybe I should start running blind eye / cold blooded for this type of situation.]

Just have an EMP. I never used one because I prefered to have more perks or attachments, but now I have an EMP on pretty much all of my classes (except for a few AR classes).

CoD2 has the most horrible netcode EVER.
The gameplay is pretty basic too, there's not much to do.
CoD4 layed the groundwork for the rest of the series, and man, it's not much, it's basically just create-a-class, killstreaks, attachments. CoD 4 itself is really imbalanced too, there's stopping power, double tap and claymores with ridiculous time to explode.
I've played CoD games a lot, and I can say that Blops 2 is probably the best. The class customization is just amazing, 10 points to spend lets you do really varied classes, and especially with the wildcards it's just great.
Balance is good too, my only complaints are AN-94(3 shots to kill, first 2 shots come in a ridiculous RoF, jesus christ that time to kill) and SMG's. The damage dropoff in range for the SMG's should be way more severe, and the hipfire is just too easy.

Also AGR + Stealth chopper + escort drone = personal army on the map. You can have 2 choppers and 2 agrs at the same time. :v:

To lead them to a place with more people if they get lost. Then let them do the killing.
Well, for me CoD 1 was the best because its rather focused on aiming and strategy.
In CoD4, i already didnt like the killstreaks because they were just annoying. But at least you werent forced to use team specific weapons like in CoD1 and 2. Maps and balance were good.
And then in MW2, the balance went worse and there was even more stuff flying through the air.
Id really like a nice "back to the roots" CoD without much gimmicks but a well balanced, skillfull multiplayer with some nice maps.
I use the Dragonfire so I can fly around and kill people whilst making aircraft and gun noises. Usually get weird looks from my housemates after though.

Not to start a massive flame war here, but I'm just wondering where you're coming from with Blops 2 being the best. In regards to balance, all the SMG's have a ridiculous RoF and massive magazine sizes, which imo seems like they just ported the Famas over from Blops 1 and fiddled with a couple of the numbers each to make every SMG.
I agree with you that their ravamp of the Create a Class system is pretty cool, works well and seems pretty balanced.
The netcode on the other hand, jesus christ. From having played all the CoD games, this is the one where I seem to die round corners the most, to a far greater degree than I did in Blops 1. It seems that I have time to run away from a gunfight, get round a corner, decide that I'm safe and start planning my next move, THEN I die from some guy who hadn't moved his reticule from the corner that I ran round a second ago. Lines of sight seem to be off too, some guy apparently coming round a corner spraying and killing me, while on his screen he and I never broke LoS. The same issue appears with dropshotting, some guy and I get in a gunfight, I die and see him drop to the floor, while on the Killcam he dropped instantly and shot my ankles to death. This sort of thing is incredibly annoying when I apparently shot some guy full on in the chest with a shotgun and get no hitmarker, die, then on the Killcam I'm not actually aiming at him because he's strafed around me.
There's also the apparent random nature of how many shots you apparently fired, some of the time I'll have fired off all my shots then die, and other times I'll have not shot at all, or shot once, while some idiot with an SMG unloads a clip haphazardly around me. Even using AR's I've noticed that the amount of shots it takes to kill someone varies wildly, so that I stop shooting because I know that I've killed the guy, but apparently not.
Treyarch has apparently also gone the way of using lag compensation, the usual connection bars on the scoreboard are completely useless, everyone can apparently have a 4-bar connection and lag around like it's nobodies business. While I can't say the direct impact of the game on whatever they're doing to everyone's connections, I find it annoying when you can't accurately gauge whether you died because the overall connection is terrible, whether your shots didn't register, or whether the other person is simply better than you.
I'm ignoring a bunch of things that this game did right, and I'm not trying to say that it's completely terrible, but it just seems so random. Even more so than any other CoD I've played.

They use ping on the PC version.

*justified netcode and other problem ranting*
The SMG's are good at close range, and because of the good hipfire and lag compensation, too good. They also have way too much damage at range, and paired with the RoF most of them have, it's just way too much.
SMG's do vary a lot though, and are not near the FAMAS from Blops 1 in my opinion.
They are the most easy weapons to use, slightly overpowered and widely used, and it makes them the most annoying weapons to face.
And yes the line of sight and difference in what you see the enemy doing, and what he see he's doing is really annoying at times. I've "fixed" most of the problems in my PC version by putting the max ping to 60, random lag compensation kills have almost disappeared but the random amount of hits guns need to kill hasn't changed. My SWAT 556 and M8A1 are so random when it comes to hits to kill, varying from 3 to 7 at worst cases. I'm not sure what is the reason for this, maybe lower damage on limbs, or just shitty netcode. But in any case, yes the netcode can be atrocious at even at a slightly larger than normal ping.
In my mind its the case of the good things making up for the bad things. The randomness is present in hipfire and netcode, but the other stuff is pretty damn great. I understand where you're coming from and I agree, but I still think this is one of the best CoD's in a long time.
