Yeah, but BO2 has its fair share of shitty streaks. cough guardian cough
Shitty as in "holy shit if this guardian doesn't piss off" or shitty as in "why does anyone even use this it's so useless"?
Shitty as in "holy shit if this guardian doesn't piss off" or shitty as in "why does anyone even use this it's so useless"?
Probably the second one. It's not game-breakingly horrific, it just irritates me when I see someone using it.
Anyone can make the argument that the killstreak is easy to destroy but you might not always have the right tools.
'pff helicopter just use a stinger man'
'don't have one'
'oh shit'
You mean the same zoom level as the iron sights?
Really? Always felt like it was a larger zoom to me. Either way, target finding is a bonus and I don't use it aggressively so the tunnel vision doesn't hinder me.
I'll be buying the 10 extra CaC slots since its only 160msp. 20 total CaC slots will be nice since I've filled up my 10.

Tunnel vision doesn't bother me anyways. With eyefinity the side screens still show the scene. Just widens the bevel between the screens.
I just dislike when your Air Killstreak only lasts 5 seconds before getting destroyed, and enemy killstreaks lasts the whole match
So, the patch.
I'm going to list the only patch note worth reading.

Ten extra CaC slots? If this comes out on Steam for cheap enough I may just get those...
And the flags calling cards were available by default in MW2 weren't they? :(

One of the new DLC camos is apparently Bacon. How lovely.
Wow, is it just me or does it seem like we're getting closer and closer to pay to win? With the peacekeeper being DLC only and more create a class slots, just damn. Small steps, but it's a slippery slope.

Because CaC slots change a lot. 5 slots are enough, 10 from prestige is overkill really, unless you want different attachments for your weapons. Is 10 more going to make the game easier? No, not at all.

I always felt like the target finder was more of a hindrance than anything else, but I was using it on my PDW just to see what it was all about. Perhaps on a LMG it would make more sense.
I want to see them put in a no-dot sight for the reflex that you get for killing people while EMPed.
entire enemy team was calling me a shotgun faggot because i was using the ksg even though i had the lowest score on my team :v:

10 extra create a class slots you can't get without paying.
10 extra create a class slots you can't get without paying.
So? No other CoD game had more than 10 iirc. They are not forcing you to get them and they are also not something that directly empowers another player. Not to mention it will probably cost about $2 if they have the same price as MSP.
It is nothing but a bonus that they made and are selling on the side. There is no problem with optional cosmetic and ease of use things like that being put in a game that has already been out.
If it wasn't in the game at all there would be nothing to complain about. But because it is and it cost a couple of bucks it is suddenly a problem?
10 extra create a class slots you can't get without paying.
are you seriously trying to complain
i find 8 customs to be more than enough
I find my extra CaC from prestiging isn't even used.

Still, the problem here is that people who pay extra are getting a distinct advantage over non-dlc buyers. Look at it in principle. When in a multiplayer game, somebody shouldn't have an advantage over someone just because they paid a bit more. Yes, it is a minor deal, just some custom classes, but I have a feeling (:tinfoil:) that this is the beginning of more to come, and it won't be pretty. Call of Duty is pretty much a cash grab every year anyways, might as well rake in 12 year olds' parents' cash with pay-to-win guns and other bonuses.

Are you still taking about the create-a-class slots when you said distinct advantage? If so, it doesn't make much difference.
The reason why I pointed to cosmetic and ease of use items is because those don't actually give you an advantage over other players. The peacekeeper though does not fall under that category and it's addition could be the start of bad practices. If those weapons are more powerful than the other weapons or give the player some sort of advantage that you couldn't get otherwise then that isn't something that should be in the game.
The way I see it, if CoD keeps these sorts of things they will just be cosmetic items or more slots like they have here. The maps will stay in their own DLC packs along with new weapons if they continue adding those.

I'm just saying it's a slippery slope and a bad habit to get into. DLC guns are bullshit and I hate the peacekeeper for that reason. I can only hope the next game doesn't get into this. Who am I kidding, money!
