You've got 30 rounds going out at 937rpm*2. That's 30 rounds in just under a second. [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] Coupled with a four shot kill theoretical kill time is 133.3ms Three shot kill was 100ms.
They're a secondary weapon, do you realize that? They're not for competing against people at long range. They're for warding off any fucking body that gets close to you (1800 rpm + 3 hits to kill). They're use in competition by AR users (M8A1 usually). They watch down a long sightline and kill everybody there. If you don't come from there you have to come close to them and they kap you. Keep in mind that this was a problem in S&D which is the main competitive game mode. What you're saying about killing a guy sitting in a corner when you enter is just the wrong way around. That guy is waiting for you with his kaps and you can't do anything to kill him then. [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] It's not better on paper, it's better in game.
But the revamped create a class system, the distinction between primary and secondary weapons becomes useless, other than primary weapons being designed to work at theoretically any range. You can use the Tac 45 and Five Seven at pretty much any range, they work as well as any semi automatic primary, the only differences being clip size, movement speed and draw speed. Sure they're better in some circumstances at close range but I've had more than a few times when I'd shot someone 3 times and he mows me down with any AR/SMG/shotgun because in the killcam I had only shot once or not at all. The same issue happens with the Kap 40's, except when you're using them akimbo you barely have any range at all, combined with connection issues it's not exactly a human lawnmower. I'd understand how in S&D this shit would be annoying, especially given the amount of bullshit deaths, but using an akimbo weapon you are replying purely on luck that your bullets will actually register. Sure if you know someone's coming and you're in close range then you can probably kill them but you can do that with absolutely any gun, connection permitting. Given how small the maps are, any of the pistol secondary weapons can be used as a primary, even god forbid the Executioner, providing you stick to the right spots and hopefully play against idiots. While I admit that I don't speak from any experience in competitive play, I do have a shade under 1000 kills with the Kap 40's so it's not like I'm totally talking out of my ass here. Regardless of what I think it's what Treyarch thinks that matters, so if they think that being able to kill maybe one person at pretty damn close range is what they intended from the weapon then who am I to argue any differently.

This isn't the problem. And yes killing one person at pretty damn close rang is what one would use akimbo kaps for. And they were too good at doing this.
Im just saying i've won far too many games EASILY using the KAP-40.
Im just saying i've won far too many games EASILY using the KAP-40.
shit's op yo

Only the B23R and Executioner till I get Diamond pistols! Whoo
I might get a camo pack soon. Should I get party rock or dia de muertos?
I might get a camo pack soon. Should I get party rock or dia de muertos?
kawaii is the only valid option
I'd really like to see a reticle designer, like the emblem designer. would be cool ,considering there's only about 2 reticles in total that I'll actually considering the rest either obstruct the view or give fuck all in the way of information
I met several guys helping each other with challenges yesterday. These guys helped each other in gaining Nuclear emblem. Shit sounds too damn hard to get, especially when it comes of being accused of hacking. And about weapons, I got maxed out Prestige on Tac-45, camo is all left to finish. Still 6 headshots for Typhon. [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] Another thing, what are the challenges for Pistols after Typhon?
Your post was fine, landstorm's just a giant dick. You can pretty much ignore everything he says because he's a troll.
brb pasting all my vague and useless pics onto this thread you're in for a treat
brb pasting all my vague and useless pics onto this thread you're in for a treat
are you ever not an asshole?

is it just me or does anyone else wish they had brought back custom face paint and model selection? i really liked that you could do that in black ops, it was the major difference between treyarch and infinity ward's games, the uniformed look is getting stale.

I liked how your blue tier perk in BO1 made your playermodel different, whether it be skinny for lightweight, armor for flak jacket, extra ammo pouches for scavenger, etc. Stuff like that needs to be re-added. Still holding out for custom camo's and emblems, but I have a feeling it won't happen.

I wouldn't mind if they just did away with faction-based teams and just had "Team A" vs "Team B", and then had some Halo style customization. Hell, they'd have a new opportunity for bollocks microtransactions. [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] Let's be honest, COD has and likely always will have the old Counter-Strike alpha/beta problem where both teams look too similar. Color-schemes put on to player models would help to alleviate the passive-camoflague problem that BO2 severely has. But who am I kidding, that's probably why BO2 has target-finder.

You know what, best class ever. Sure, it basically relies on your team dying for you all the time while you sneak around, but this class has shot up my KD/R by .01 so far! Also, trying to figure out what I should purge so I can put Ghost in when I unlock it. Is lightweight's speed boost negligible if I'm using and SMG or knife?
silencer and no ghost? axe and no fast hands? SENSOR GRENADE? what are you doing bro
silencer and no ghost? axe and no fast hands? SENSOR GRENADE? what are you doing bro
What I'm doing is that I used my prestige unlock for the AN-94, and have not reached level 55 yet. Fast hands is negligible IMO, and what is so bad about sensor grenade? Usually the people detected by it are too thick-skulled to realize they're about to get slit from behind.
swap chameleon for fast hands, drop the laser sight and sensor grenade. sensor grenades are bad and laser sight doesn't do much for smgs.
What I'm doing is that I used my prestige unlock for the AN-94, and have not reached level 55 yet. Fast hands is negligible IMO, and what is so bad about sensor grenade? okay i'll give you axe sans hands, but sensor grenade lasts too short to be worth the tactical slot unless you're using tactician with something better.
okay i'll give you axe sans hands, but sensor grenade lasts too short to be worth the tactical slot unless you're using tactician with something better.
also they make a pretty lightshow for the entire enemy team to avoid.
Wow, I forgot sensor grenades even existed. I don't think I've seen a single one since launch day.
Wow, I forgot sensor grenades even existed. I don't think I've seen a single one since launch day.
I see people using them from time to time. Even when they're on my team I don't see any point in them. When an enemy sensor rolls up to my feet I don't do anything and it doesn't change anything to the way the enemy runs directly into my sights when I'm headglitching.
headglitching.
For the last time people, there is no such thing as a headglitch! What there is, however, is how the Quake engine has handled gunplay since 1996. [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] I stopped playing COD on Gamebattles because of constant bitching about "headglitching" and "levitating" Seriously, "levitation glitch"?! Do you know what the fuck a collision box is?! [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] Sledgehammer should just try to work in context animations where it appears the gun is being tilted over cover sideways like in most third-person shooters. The "headglitch" bitchers will have no reason to complain anymore.
I wanna show everyone my awesome Kirby emblem but I guess I can't do it anymore. So I'll show off my classes instead, I guess. My shotgun class is mainly used on Hijacked and some other closed in maps. It was also the first class I ever really got into with BO2. My PDW class is never used anymore (and wasn't used for very long) because... I love my FAL.
