Best balancing 2013
They're playing in a party I bet.
I suck at Multiplayer, I can get a few kills with the death cannon [sp]MSMC[/sp] however I die often.
Gimme your tips.

If you suck use the MP7 instead of the MSMC.
Learn the maps, and with some experience you should be able to tell where the bad guys are even without an UAV (where your teammates aren't).
Use UAVs and your minimap, don't charge straight into objectives but try to flank.
Using a suppressor, shooting down enemy UAVs or using Ghost can help you stay alive longer as well.
If someone starts shooting at you from a distance it's no use to start shooting at him one second later most of the time: stay near a corner or a building and have an escape route if there's a lost gunfight that starts. Don't be afraid to run away and hide to regen your health, there's no shame in that.
Use headglitch spots, behind crates and so on, which only shows your head and neck to the enemies but you can see their whole body if they're in the open.
Play slow: if you know there's someone coming around the corner, wait for him in an advantageous spot with your sights up. Guaranteed kill most of the time if they don't know your exact position.
[editline]2nd March 2013[/editline]
Use low scorestreaks of course. UAV and CUAV both help you stay alive longer.
Learn how your opponents play: if there's a dropshotter be aware of that and be prepared to aim down when you see them (makes them twice as easy to kill really), if there's a sniper they will mostly be always in the same place so flank them, if someone uses Ghost be wary of what you see with your UAV...
[editline]2nd March 2013[/editline]
The key is to only get into gunfights where you have an advantage, really. A lot of the better players don't have necessarily very good aim, but they know how the game works and as such manage to compensate for that.

I usually just run around and rely on my superior aim and reactions to win :v
Do you play on PC or console?
EVERY time i get to 29 kills in FFA on Hijacked, i will not spawn me anywhere but that one spawn point at the bottom of the boat, where no one ever is, and i end up losing because of it half the time.
are there any gold peacekeepers yet

Yes

Considering it's already been a day since the release of the DLC, I think it's the time to ask for some feedback on it. How's the Peacekeeper? How are the maps?

I've seen a few people drop it, and I stole it. It's average at its finest, I'd choose the AN over it all day every day.

I need to finish up the 150 kills without attachments then do the perks one and I have one. It's extremely easy

Do them at the same time, it will go twice as fast
Do them at the same time, it will go twice as fast
And four times as frustrating.
[editline]2nd March 2013[/editline]
I average around 30 kills a match so I should have no problem finishing off no attachments. Peacekeeper is a great gun, the only thing I'm concerned about is no perks.
I've only gotten a couple guns done that one.
Oh shit I just realized why the K9 unit had this name. I feel so dumb. :v:
Feel like going full worm, what are some good classes to fuck with people? I'm thinking LMG with target finder, overkill with the shield, trophy systems and bettys/claymores.
uh a laser smg
Can some one help me out.
I recently redeemed my code for Nuketown 2025. For some reason though it's not showing up on the selection screen. I should also mention that I had to install the game on my Xbox after my disc getting trashed. I'm not sure if this is part of the problem so I though it would be worth mentioning.

Dumb IT guy level question: Did you download the map?
Dumb IT guy level question: Did you download the map?
I redeemed the code off of a card. Afterwards I checked my files to see if it actually downloaded, and Nuketown was definitely in my BLOPS 2 files.

apparently people are having issues with dlc in other xbox games recently, odd.
Does anyone know of anything that can change the FoV in MW2? I'm sorry but what feels like 60 really, really hurts my eyes. It's like i'm looking at a wall through binoculars
Four Delta One.
It's a mod that adds dedicated servers and custom game modes, and iirc it allows you to change the fov
Holy hell Demolition is such a bad gamemode in this game.
New maps are pretty good.

Demolition is alright if you don't get spawn trapped though.
I think the best Call of Duty would be one maintained by the community. I really wish I could program, because I'd love to do a Call of Duty: Source where the balance of the game is critiqued actively by the community, created by the community, and all-around tidied by the community. (Taken as a grain of salt, but at least considered.)
I think Treyarch and Activision has grown a bit distant from their fanbase, and I question whether they're creating games they'd actually play.

You seem to forget that the CoD community is terrible.
A game balanced by the community would be snipers only, you can't aim down sights for more than .2 seconds, and you can't get the final kill if you don't do a 360 before shooting.
Call of Quickscoping: Modern Trickshots
[editline]3rd March 2013[/editline]
And really I don't see a problem with the balance in this game. People complain they can't beat SMGs with ARs up close, but that's the way it has been in every game ever, even the almighty CoD4 that they seem to hold for holy grail (where the balance was absolutely terrible).

I think mostly the balance is alright, although the PDW and the MSMC could do with a nerf, the lower RPM isn't really downside to low recoil, high damage and (for an SMG) high range, and I'm sure a few guns could do with some love, like the QBB LSW.

Nah, the QBB's high rof coupled with the high damage makes it very good already. And the MSMC and PDW are harder to use than the MP7 and Vector, and the lower RoF makes them less reliable. However a lot of very good players use them because of the faster (potentially) killing time, that's why they can seem "OP" but it's mostly the players that use them.
[editline]3rd March 2013[/editline]
Well that's my opinion at least...
By the way has anyone tried the Vector with select fire? Apparently it gains a very fast (1250 rpm iirc) two shot burst, but it must be hard to use... I can't play right now but I want to try it now that I discovered this.
Hey guys, I've been working on a new OP for this thread since the new one (and the last one from what I saw) was, no offense intended, poo. What do you guys think?

Call of Duty is a first-person and third-person shooter video game series franchise. The series began on the PC, and later expanded to consoles and handhelds. Several spin-off games have also been released. The earlier games in the series are set primarily in World War II; starting with Modern Warfare, set in modern times, the series has shifted focus away from World War II. Modern Warfare was followed by Modern Warfare 2, set in modern times, and Black Ops, set during the Cold War. Modern Warfare 3, also set in modern times (as the name suggests) was released on 8th November 2011.

So far there have been 9 CoDs.
