I honestly didnt think i was going to like Harper. He seemed like the annoying douchebag character. The kind of dude-bro friend. But i honestly started to like him through the game.

when you prestige all that resets is item unlocks. emblems, cards and camo progress all stay. attachment unlocks stay too.

They're all good. Try all 3 out. If it's only one, well it depends if you prefer SMGs or ARs, and if it's ARs if you like single shot rifles. The SMR is really good if your aim is good (mine isn't so I don't usually use it).

Player prestige :
You keep your weapon progress (camos, attachments, etc.) but you have to unlock them again when you reach that level
You unlock new challenges as well
Weapon prestige:
You keep your weapon camos but lose the attachments for that weapon and have to unlock them again
Oh and when you do a player prestige you can get a new class slot + you have a "perma-unlock" token, with which you can unlock anything, be it a weapon, perk, wildcard or killstreak regardless of your level, and it will be able even for latter prestiges. Most people use their first one on Ghost.

tac knife is best knife, im wondering why nobody uses it. it's exactly like the combat knife and you can shoot your way out if you get caught in a gunfight.
The reason I use Combat Knife is because I want to get my tac knifes to have camos :V

Because it's two points? That's an extra perk. Most people try to streamline their equipment for more perks or attachments. Yeah, its alright, but its not great enough to warrant two points all the time.
I mostly like Tactical Knife because it moves your gun further away from you, I feel like I'm more accurate when using it.

If you have a pistol equipped and the slot to use it, tactical knife isn't that bad, and certainly helps you in CQ. The issue is giving up a slot in the first place, and if I'm running an attachment on a pistol I prefer long barrel or extended mags (except on the Five-Seven, which doesn't really need extended mags).

Treyarch why can I max every game on my computer but Black Ops 1 gets 45 FPS maxed out?
I found a new way to appreciate and enjoy black ops 2 by playing other game modes. Just like black ops 1 team deathmatch is not as a fun as tdm in a MW game.

I rush too much. I can generally kill whatever comes my way, but I keep running into a) shock charges/mines, b) large groups of people, or c) shotgun campers or campers in general. Sometimes I even run past people, my targeting reflexes go haywire, and I end up wildly spraying bullets 360 as I'm gunned down. I now use tac mask (invaluable), but I still just can't shake charging headlong into the enemy with an smg. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Help or tips?
Seriously, why do all of the assholes of this game have to be "good" at it or just so happen to have high score/kd/whatever. I've run into like six people so far tonight who are acting like they are above everyone else just because they score high in this damn game. Even better they are always the people with mics who do nothing but spew out idiotic comments about people and their low scores and or make things up about their personal lifes.

the only thing that really made me buttmad was the stun mine / bouncing betty combo, which I countered by putting engineer on ALL my classes. I also carry nothing but EMP grenades. I destroy ALL of the enemy's things

If you get stunned with a betty there, go prone, or at least crouch. If you crouch, you'll survive around 80~% of the time, and if you prone, pretty much 99%.
