I remember my first day in SS13. Think I was on nox as assistant? Already 10 mins into the round, some doctor yelled at me and wanted to try his new limb replacing surgery, I said okay, then I died and was stuffed into a locker.
15 units radium+ strangeness makes your genome change every tic
It's hilarious. Don't forget to call whoever you do this to a changeling

What is this "strangeness" and what station is this?

Also screw you lot I still think security should be xenos in sec uniform because, honestly, they act a lot like them.

At least you could figure out how to leave the arrival shuttle.
I told this story in the last thread, but in my friends first round where I was trying to show him the game, he somehow rolled CE, walked into the AI upload, got arrested, then beat to death in about 5 minutes.

Such is life in the station.
The admin of nox had a thing where the first person to speak in OOC got wizard as part of a contest. He enabled it I won. So then I picked hulk, fireball, and jaunt and proceeded to destroy the station. Nobody was a match for me. I had a regeneration bead, which brought me back from crit once. I discovered that fireball gibs dead bodies if they are over a badly damaged plate tile or over a space tile. Since it also knocks out people, deafens them, creates hull breaches, and breaks machinery, all while being robeless, I figure it is better than every other spell combined. I fight through the station, killing the captain and the head of security and god knows how many other chucklefucks until I encounter an ultimate showdown of sorts. Here's how it went down. I was in the escape hallway, and he was in the library, and we were exchanging shots constantly. The glass kept me from getting in range of knocking him over with my hulk punch and would have blocked my fireball, and he had a riot shield anyway so even if I got into melee range, I couldn't knock him over. My eye beams were unlimited but so was his advanced laser gun. This man was more robust than quite litterally the entire rest of the station combined.
He was my ultimate downfall.
He wore the suit of heroes. The suit of legendary robust slayers who bring stations to their knees and then tear them apart after they beg for mercy.
I managed to enhance the picture I took in game using techniques I learned on CSI.
Here is my killer, hero of the station

reading this made me realize how tired I was when I wrote that. I sound like a god damn robot
Also People remember you from round to round. I joined one round yesterday and got flashed, cabletied and dragged into a corridor, but I realized he was my russian comrade from when I roleplayed Lenin and led a resistance against the tyranny of the AI. So I said to him who I was, and he let me go.
Last time I played a syndie, I was skulking through the corridors when a lone man walked in on me. I promptly shot him in the legs 3 times. When he begged for his life, I told him "Crawl to the medbay. If you tell a single soul, I'll know." He thanked me for my kindness and hauled ass away.
We went that entire round without being detected.
I've been playing exclusively as AI for quite a while now.
I enjoy the fact that I have to manage 5 different departments with 5 different heads. It only gets better when you pretend to be an Indian call center who misinterprets every 2nd request, speaks in broken english and often refers you to tier-2 support.
I do pretty much everything listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_centre#Criticism_and_performance
It's also amusing to act as a simple SQL query interpreter. Nobody likes me when I do that.

It's you! I play as Jerome Jensen and Timmy Jones on /tg/. You're the one who makes the job titles hilarious like how the HoP is Head of Peoples.
My personal favourite is Head of (In)securities.
Baha, I remember the Indian call centre AI and his job naming. Shit had me laughing all the way to the shuttle of escaping :v:
I'm going to be able to play as the AI in four days but I'm nervous because I don't want to fuck up and grt jobbaned.
I've been trying chemistry a bit, and know that chemicals stack, so would any of you know which of these two is more effective? I've made and tested the first one from the list, as I figured you'd want a lot of the specific healers with 5 of tricord as it cures bruise+burn very slowly, in addition to Doctor's Delight (which is amazing) but am wondering how well the second would work. After all, chemicals work at a certain rate, so surely 5 kelo + 5 derm should beat 10 derm in speed of healing, if not quantity? I pretty much came up with these recipes myself, so they're likely far from good, especially compared to what a good chemist would make.
1) 5 anti-tox, 5 tricord, 10 bicar, 10 derm, 10 dex +, 10 Doctor's Delight
2) 5 anti-tox, 5 tricord, 10 bicar, 5 kelo, 5 derm, 5 dex, 5 dex +, 10 Doctor's Delight.
I'd think that the first would be better, as it is going to last for a tiny bit longer bit. Also, would it be worth chucking inaprovaline into it? Surely dexalin + is just better, as inaprovaline just stops further O2 damage, whilst dexalin and dexalin plus actively cure it.
Then there's the whole EVA pill kerfuffle, I've got to test that some time. I was thinking something like 20 dex +, 10 hyperzine, 20 leporazine, but I don't really know. I figure that if I was to take internals, I could just swap it up to 20 leporazine, 10 hyperzine, 10 bicard and 10 derm to help stop the pressure burns...

I like you
However pressure does brute damage so make sure to add some for that
also add some kelotane and dermaline to that mix because most of what kills people is the burn damage

BTW if you guys didn't know. I might not have mentioned, but remember when I said, [sp]I'll be back[/sp]

One, if you have dex+ then you don't need normal dex. Two, tricord and DD are generally not worth using in a healall pill.
Generally you'd want: 1 Ryetalyn, 10 Antitox, 5 dex+, 10 dermaline and kelotane, 10 Bicaridine, and like 4 units of Arithrizine for Radiation.

Use a wrench. First adjustment sets them to cold as balls, second to Satan's piss, third back to normal.

I've heard a report that someone survived a plasma fire with a freezing shower.

Whats more effective then? I'd imagine the hot shower would do more damage, but would the freezing one make someone move slower?
