not sure how late I am on this but discovered on bit.trip beat while playing around
for those of you who don't want to go blind, and aren't really going for points, never hit those flashing colored blocks at the end of each level.
the progress does change, as well as the block pattern normally would, but the background stays the same.
only use for that is now you don't have to deal with those rave-party backgrounds in later levels.

I just played bit.trip beat for the first time. It started off pretty easy, thought it was pretty cool.

Someone posted awhile back that doing the easiest games first, makes the other games go faster.
