Found a great strategy. Go elite, hit every orange block, fuck the blue blocks as much as you can, strive for a clean finish.

The AppID trick only works with games you own

I tried to fuck the blue blocks but they managed to fuck me over instead.

Should I try Cheatengine? I've never used it before, not sure if safe.

Judging by how Valve has treated idlers in the past I wouldn't want to do it now.

Last time they removed Idlers' hats and items in TF2. I could only imagine this time launching Portal 2 and getting a message like "Thank you for your participation in helping Portal 2 release sooner. For your efforts, we have locked your copy of Portal 2 for an additional week."
