Also I think this is just a clever marketing ploy, because the estimated time is round 3 days, and I'm pretty sure that would come out to the original release date anyway.

All the people who spent [b]$45[/b] on their new game were told repeatedly when they spent that $45 that the game would come out on April 19th at 7 AM PST. I don't see how it's Valve's fault that those people would be angry about the early release thing and I don't see why they would have to shell out another $40 at all when everyone else is already working on getting an early release for them. The game is pretty much guaranteed to come out at least a bit earlier at this point, so anybody who doesn't have the Potato Sack can just sit back and reap the benefits of what the existing Potato Sack owners manage to accomplish.
You guys have to realize that the game coming out early is a [i]bonus[/i]. Valve promised [i]nothing[/i]. It was everyone raising their expectations to unreasonable heights during the ARG, not Valve. I'm personally ecstatic that we might get it on Monday at all rather than Tuesday.

Sure, the wiki is trying to do so, but it isn't really working.
I think Valve will give the bars a little push eventually. We're worth having it released at least one day prior.

You know, I bet the majority of people playing the games in the potato pack don't even know about this whole thing. More specifically the ones playing the more popular games like KF, Amnesia, Defense Grid, Audiosurf, and Super Meat Boy.

Yeah, despite the amount of excitement going around on the forums and such, the ARG and the early launch are actually only known about by a vast minority of users. Most of my hardcore Valve-loving friends didn't even know about any of this until I told them about it.
Once KF is the only one left it will be released in an instant.

We need over one million hours in KF. And the potential amount of people (based on those participating) is 20,000 playing it. That means it would take 48+ hours to fill the bar.

Would be great if the big steam groups made announcments of the games to play.
Amnesia, Killing Floor, and The Ball have no chance of speeding up, once we get to those games it will be too late.
