I can't just leave my Audiosurf on the visualizer because the damn thing keeps defaulting to The Device Has Been Modified. This is annoying.

You need to play the game in order to help the bar progress, but your potatoes act as a multiplier for how much you help the bar progress.

Potatoes are multipliers, and the amount of people running the game is what is being multiplied. So both.

Not sure if it still counts when you hold one button, it could only look for key presses and not for keys that are already pressed but still pressed.
