Help release Portal 2 Early. - Games

Perhaps the time will change when the next game is completed, I mean that's when the recalculations are done

I see potential in skipping to killing floor next so we could get it out of the way. IT has more users then Cogs and it would finish faster.

I'm tired of waiting the Portal 2. :saddowns: I'm afraid that when the game finally comes out, I'll not be interested in it. Too much hype.

I knew it wasn't going to be some abstract number like 375,466, something like 500,000 seems like the point it will overclock as that seems like a good half-way mark and would be feasible within the time limit we were given.

What's the current ETA on COGS finishing?

It's obviously planned to release just moments before it comes out so Valve gets a giant ego thinking they are superheroes or something.

It just hit me that we're trying to use potatoes to power Glados. This is silly.

Even if we don't get them all finished, we still got the boot progress bar to 60% in 2 days.

Sending an e-mail to anybody other than Jeep Barnette's Gmail account will result in an automatic reply saying "Everything is fine" That's all it says. Seriously. No "automated message:" etc.

It's great to see everyone so hyped to get it to release early, but people shouldn't feel so entitled to an early launch. At the end of the day Valve still determines when they release the game.

Let's not forget that Valve used to delay their games for a year or more too, while Portal has only been delayed for 4 months.
