I find it extremely weird to see a russian guy with a SIG 550.
What if he picked it up?
Vanilla X-18 was always disturbing. But in SGM this shit is both weird and scary as fuck.
Keyword is "SGM".
does that retract your previous statement about x-18 being disturbing or something what WAS disturbing was the miracle machine, giant brain in a jar wtf
does that retract your previous statement about x-18 being disturbing or something what WAS disturbing was the miracle machine, giant brain in a jar wtf
X-18 scared the shit out of me the first few times I went through it. Same thing with Agroprom Underground. Same thing with the bloodsucker village. Same thing with the brain scorcher. [editline]3rd April 2013[/editline] Honestly, any 'brains in a jar' effect they had going was nothing for me. I've seen more disturbing things in cartoons.
STALKER doesn't have enough revolvers, there should be an M1895

I believe we're using this, sans scope.
tbh I was scared during my first time rush to the Wish Granter. Abandoned NPP, fanatics, noises and scary as fuck voice "Come to me, stalker!". All X-labs in Stalker are both scary and disturbing because of their unique atmosphere. Same for Yantar, Radar(SoC Red Forest), Red Forest and Pripyat.
I believe we're using this, sans scope.
It's not a colt but I can live with it.
Keyword is "SGM".
Not even scary when you have a fully upgraded light machine gun filled with Dum-Dums. 260 bullets of death and explosions for those bloodsucker bandits.
Well I figured out the level changer thing then I realized ZRP's TZIO script doesn't seem to handle the new LCs well :suicide: l10u_secret_lab takes me to pripyat and the ones for generators, warlab etc don't work at all..it says they don't exist. sigh.
;40141729']Not even scary when you have a fully upgraded light machine gun filled with Dum-Dums. 260 bullets of death and explosions for those bloodsucker bandits.
LMG and Dum-Dums are for pussies. Only Carabiner, babe. But I screamed like a raped 12 y.o. girl when this ugly piece of shit from Metro came out of nowhere and started to tear my ass.
someone please promise me more future mods will feature guns with properly working illuminated sights i mean considering how dark LURK was for example it was absolutely impossible to aim if it was even slightly overcast unless you had a scope sure okay the shitty rusty russian guns can have standard sights but there's no reason for something like the USP or SIG 556 not to have illuminated sights

Get on my level scrub.
;40142520']DumDums killed that in 28 bullets from my anomalous 177dmg Vintorez. Get on my level scrub.
I don't need your scrub ammo. Monolith knife is the only op weapon I use.
"PLEASE don't use STALKER Complete." - Why shouldn't I use Complete on my first playthrough? Doesn't it only change the graphics and adds bugfixes to all the stalker games? And the lists of preferred mods aren't working, so what mods do you prefer for SoC, CS and CoP? I really loved OL for SoC (is there anything better than it?) and I really don't like LURK. By the way, is it possible to easilly merge those overhauling mods, like OL, with graphical mods, such as Complete? Like by only copying some certain folders/files?

CS has mostly the same changes as ShoC and CoP is just a crashy and buggy piece of shit that makes it more unstable than vanilla.

For SoC I love doom's mod merge, although it does have lurk elements which you might not like. For CoP I recommend Sgm 2.2, and of course Redux.
If you want vanilla with better graphics and bugfixes - use Reloaded. Tried both for CS and CoP. They're ok.

Complete changes both gameplay and graphics so he kinda breaks his own premise with his mod. You can easily get better graphics than Complete just by finding some good textures packs on the internet.
Hi SGM.
Sgm 2.2
I don't like 2.2 though. Too much unplolished stuff.
just play vanilla the first time...
I don't like 2.2 though. Too much unplolished stuff.
3.0 soon stalker
Got 30kg of things just from looting around the Swamps. Being a Loner isn't that hard, afterall.
what mods do you prefer for SoC, CS and CoP?
SoC : Freeplay Start Mod Merge (DMM) , AMK, old storyline restoration mod CS : TFW CoP : MSO+AtmosFear 3
I really loved OL for SoC (is there anything better than it?) and I really don't like LURK.
Well AMK 1.41 is the mod OL is a stripped down version of and I recommend it in case you haven't played it already. There's also OGSE which ramps up the crazy and unexpected shit up to eleven
By the way, is it possible to easilly merge those overhauling mods, like OL, with graphical mods, such as Complete? Like by only copying some certain folders/files?
Dunno about OL but there's a guide on how to get AMK to work with Complete 2009's graphics and optional (?) LURK weapon animations added to the mix. It's not easy, mind you, but it's doable with detailed instructions.
The Swamps are plentiful with fruit. You just need to put your ear to ground to hear the hoof-beats of boars first, then follow the sounds of irradiated rivers. Then you get your rewards.

[editline]3rd April 2013[/editline] Also (probably) new Survarium art [t]http://sphotos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/882932_560495747305193_1571289383_o.jpg[/t]
I believe we're using this, sans scope.
Why is there a scope on the bloody thing. Scopes on revolvers, who came up with that anyway.
;40142654']Kingo had a list about the changes it made to ShoC.
Sorry that I can't repeat myself and post another list. I have been on a spiritual journey to the wish granter since then and asked to have a Complete memory purge of that mod. Someone can dig up an old thread if they want and find it but basically it turns game into baby mode. The graphical additions are mostly just modified STALKER Weather Overhauled + Argus Textures + really really green vegetation + Sky4CE shaders (don't go there) if I recall correctly.
