So, gonna install SoC again. What in particular does the FPSTALKER starter pack contain? Just big fixes?
Hi fellow stalkers, i am a new guy here. May i ask you guys a question ? I have been playing SGM 2.2 recently and having quite a blast, but one thing that bothers me is the broken iron sights. I was thinking that the issue was with the mod itself, but i've seen some Let's Play SGM videos, and their ironsights are correct. My issue is that all iron sights, no matter what weapon, are 1-2 fingers lower than what crosshair points at. Anyone knows anything about it ?
I don't know much about it, but are they acting like that at very close range? Maybe the sights on your gun are set up for longer ranges, as your gun is going to fire in a parabola. (particularly noticable with the VSS etc) Still shouldn't be one or two fingertips above, but at 200m or so it'd be noticable.
Even when i am looking at something in point blank range, its misaligned vertically (lower). Before i installed SGM i did a fov patch to get 83 degree fov. But i guess it is unrelated since i tried both with default and patched fovs.

What resolution do you use? I made a realignment fix for the 2.2 guns addon some time ago, but just for widescreen. Installed SGM yesterday, because everyone talks about it. Oh god its amazing. after 6 hours and ~40 deaths, I finally got out of cordon. Jesus christ how many new areas are there?! Edit: Shit if I even get fucked up this much against bandits.... oh god.

Anyone knows anything about it ?[/QUOTE] Weapons have two different alignment profiles for their sights depending if you're using a 16:9 aspect ratio or not. There's a handy alignment-tweaking plugin around here somewhere. Ask Sgt Doom, he might know more.
I am using 1080p resolution, maybe thats the case. By the way i am using the all-in-one 2.2 package from moddb. Gum provided a patch, will try it now. Also, should i use a different package/install method for SGM 2.2 ?

Doesn't SGM require 4GB of RAM? All the talk about makes me want to play it, but last I checked I think I remember seeing that and that was why I never played it.

I remember enjoying Misery when I played it.
So I'm just running around Jupiter, doing normal stuff when I come across Freedom soldiers fighting a WHOOOOAAAOOHHOOHHAAAAAAHHAAAHHAAAHH. It killed all of them, and I just sat there and watched. A full uninstall and reinstall of CoP with SGM 2.2 and still broken iron sights. Should i just move back to 2.1 ?

Man, that last half hour or so was a never ending series of me jumping and pooping myself. Oh cool one bandit left no pro- shotgun blast from behind, I'm dead and pooping Alright bandits taken care of, oh soldiers now? No problem. One left again huh? Must be up these stai- nope behind me AKM to the head pooping again Finally getting near the surface wait what's that noise - controller out of nowhere pooping And *whew* finally done with that underground nonsense (I even made 3 underground temporary saves because I was so scared I was going to die) and now to grab this int- 15 soldier blips all closing in on my location. Well, time to quit and change my pants again.
