Millenia, if you ever go back to the textures again you should make the Makarov a little more dirty.

Kinda like mine. I'd figure STALKER weapons wouldn't be brand new.
I spoke to a trader about som rumors in Clear Sky and he said he had a friend who met something that looked like aliens wearing a weird type of armor

There's some visible wear and tear on the makarov model if you enlarge the picture.

all of the pistols, at least, look way to wide and boxy.
There's a few more enemies but I couldn't get all of them in one shot.

The DOF effect in CoP is really weird.

While it isn't exactly concrete, I always assumed the weird looking guys were the holograms produced by the [sp]The Monolith/C-Con[/sp]. Those guys in charge don't necessarily need to kill, but need to study the Zone, so if anyone ever ran into them, they can just tell them to leave and no one will believe the person who saw the researchers.
That's just my assumption. Definitely not actually an alien, but most would assume so given the crazy ass suit designs you can see in-game. Given that CS takes place [I]before[/I] SoC, it's likely a group of scientists from one of the underground labs or [sp]C-Con[/sp] who are just doing a study trip.

What is with the blurry stretched DPM background for the inventory?
is there a good mod for SoC? I tried SMP 2.4 but the bloom made it unplayable. LURK 1.1 had a shoddy UI and no stamina/health bars. I remember LURK before 1.1 being alright, is there anything else anyone can recommend?

Maybe you should add the bigger Makarov as a unique in the game, also I wish I could texture at your level, all I can do is use other people's textures as a base then work from there.
Today I learned that bloodsuckers are not daleks. They can and will use stairs.

50 caliber Makarov as the endgame sidearm. Best loadout will be Gauss Rifle and .50 Makarov.

Ughh, The only thing that ruins OGSE for me is that allys can't really fight for themselves until they reach the rank of expert.
Also is there a way to avoid to stupid as fuck flyby cam at agroprom?

Cause I only have CoP. And I've barely playeed recently, still waiting for Redux 2 and it's insane difficulty mode to be done. Misery just isn't all that miserable for me anymore.

The green/black camo BG behind the grid.
You can get rid of it by deleting ui_actor_armor.dds in gamedata/textures/ui IIRC.
