If anyone was watching my SGM 2.2 stream I apologize for destroying headphones. Two kontrollers + horde of hamsters was a terrifying random encounter and a deadly combination. This time the Dawn final mission was done with this loadout: The result was satisfiable. Also Dawn is keeping it real.
Also is there a way to avoid to stupid as fuck flyby cam at agroprom?
In SoC? Sure, just run onto the train tracks to your right when approaching the shootout with the military.
Could someone link an english SGM 2.2? I've looked around, but I don't know if the one I found is really in english.
How many was he carrying?
At the time almost 7 000. Now around 12 000.
I just literally scale/position it as well over the source model as possible D: Anyways here's the Mak with a darker grip and fixed scaling: [t]http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/13/12990/fin.1.jpg[/t] I can model as well (http://www.millenia3d.net/img/borz.jpg), I just rarely do, heh.
It looks much better now Millenia, the VSS still might need it though.
i really hope Lost Alpha comes out soon
I really hope Redux 2 comes out soon [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] :c
I want Misery 2.0 :c
Just wondering, is there a mod for shadow of chernobyl that lets me repair armor? or something to avoid armor degradation?
I want SGM 3.0, Lost Alpha, Death Defying : Prologue, and a buttload more. :c
Just wondering, is there a mod for shadow of chernobyl that lets me repair armor? or something to avoid armor degradation?
ZRP has weapon and armor repair function (at Duty / Freedom mechanics at their respective bases) you can choose at install. If you already have ZRP installed, you can, as per my understanding, re-install ZRP with the options and it will not mess up your savegames. Not 100% sure of that but I know a person who did just that. Installing ZRP over vanilla however, won't probably be save compatible so you'll just have to make do without weapon repair in that case.
or something to avoid armor degradation?
Get 4 or more Fireball / Pellicle artifacts (Pellicle is easier, you can do bring the Fireball artifact quest over and over to get it, both types of Battery artifacts are limited) , boosting your anomaly protection over 100% for a certain type of anomaly, then you can jump into those anomalies to heal and repair your armor. Note that the artifacts alone must boost the protection over 100% , if you have a suit to boost you to say, 80% and then an artifact boosts the protection over 100%, it won't work. That is why you'll need at least 4 artifacts that provide 30% protection each against the same anomaly type. Note that there are two kinds of Battery artifacts : the fire kind and electrical kind. Getting 4-5 Pellicles is much, much easier than getting either types of Battery artifact. [editline]herp[/editline]
Got a link?
Sure do http://www.metacognix.com/files/stlkrsoc/ZRP_1.07_R4_130410.7z
I want Misery 2.0 :c
Why?
Why?
Misery 2.0 aims to include some actually interesting additions such as : -integrated M.S.O. tweaked to function with Misery and other custom A.I / A-Life stuff from trojanuch -more focus on Pripyat itself (as to what this means in practice remains to be seen) -injection of more real scavenging feeling to the game by making you able to hunt mutants for meat so that you aren't so reliant on tuna anymore -appropriate reactions from factions after you fuck them over -New Ordnance + Armory mod -More chances to interact with bandits and mercenaries I think it'll actually be an interesting mod that will hold me over until Redux 2.0 comes along.
Why?
Because it looks promising.
Huge longtime fan of SoC here, installing CoP for the first time. I feel like it's going to blow my mind.
Note that CoP plays very differently from SoC and it's advisable to refrain from quicksaving outside of the safe hubs.
Wait, what? Why?
Because SoC throws much more encounters at you, quicksaving after every firefight is reasonable but in CoP there's much more downtime between encounters so to get the same kind of tension present in the unmodded game it's recommendable to only save in the safe hubs so that death is more meaningful. The maps are also very supportive of this type of self-imposed savegame discipline if you will considering the rather central location of the safe hubs and the game is stable enough to warrant this kind of saving method. There's also a very good autosave feature so only manually saving at save hubs (whether by quick / regular save) won't lead to having to do long quest sections over and over.
What? CoP has the exact same gameplay
CoP relies almost entirely (outside of the quests) on the A-Life simulation to create situations whileas in SoC you're running up / down quite quite controlled action gauntlets and it can be a luck of the draw whether you'll get a totally easy breezy walk in a park run for artifacts or a mutant rape party where you're the guest of honor. [editline]herp[/editline] Oh yeah and it's kind of important to adjust to the fact that there's much less direct goals you're driven forward by in contrast to both SoC and CS : most of the game's content is in the side quests and simply beelining for the main quest will easily get you breezing through the story too quickly. Take your time getting familiar with the world, locations and characters and "settle in", you're in no rush to do the main quest.
Note that CoP plays very differently from SoC and it's advisable to refrain from quicksaving outside of the safe hubs.
What? CoP has the exact same gameplay. What are you even talking about?
blowouts
;40248392']blowouts
You get plenty of warning though, and there are plenty of spots to hide. Not quicksaving while out on the field is a bad idea
VELCOME ABOARD OUR SVAMP BOAT ICE BREAKER
I actually miss the English voice acting since Doom's merge uses the Russian voices. Sure, everything sounds much better and more serious, but I miss "WE CAN'T JUST GIVE INTO THEM" and "YOU DON'T THINK THEY'LL SHOOT HIM AS SOON AS THEY HAVE THE ARTIFACTS?!" in Yanov. :v: [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] And I miss being a statue and spilling the beans.
