I'm more than happy enough to throw $45 to Tiy, but am I the only one who doesn't want a beta?
I'll play the SHIT out of the beta, for hours and hours and hours with all my friends, but then the came will come out with all the finished content, but I'll have already explored everything and had my fill of the game by then. That always happens. :|

I would dedicate almost all my time to finding secret moon bases and the 'derelict' space vessels they said would be in the game.

i myself just got into the habit of when new content comes around for a game like terraria or Minecraft.

and then start a new world, character, and life goes on. minor content updates that will update existing worlds i usually just keep playing the world i got, like when MC got pumpkins.

I don't think the point is paying that much for the extra content offered. Think of it more like a sort of donation toward the developers.
