i tried reinstalling terraria again to make up for the butt clentchingly long wait for starbound to come out
but i just couldn't play it. i end up playing for 10 minutes then i'm like 'wow, starbound looks [I]so[/I] much better than this' and then i quit.
For me it's "a huge update will come in few months, why should I play now"

my issue is that I reckon whatever videos he does on starbound will be really irritating and just not good

The problem I have with TB is that he is an utter cunt who treats his fanbase like shit.

Even though this is a tiny bit of footage it's way better than nothing. I was concerned because in the ancient videos we had guns and especially creatures worked in a very clumsy way, but this shows how much they've improved them.
So I'm not exactly a fan of their policy of "show as little as possible because it's not necessarily representative of the final product".
Really, you can think what you want about TB. Personally I like his content and value his remarkably honest opinions, even if I do not always agree with them.
One thing you cannot argue with, however, is the fact that the Terraria videos he made together with Jesse Cox brought a lot of attention to the game, and they are most likely one of the reasons why it was so successful. If he can bring that spotlight unto Starbound (which he has said that he will, he and Jesse Cox will be playing it just like they did with Terraria), and as such earn Chucklefish more money, would anyone in this thread complain?

as I already said earlier, TB's a bit of a dick but he and Jesse have good chemistry and make for a good pair to play sandbox games in

The hats will probably be just cosmetic vanity items so I think they won't be a bother even if they'd be more or less obnoxious.
