Second turret has shit armour compared to the first one. To use a Jumbo or M4 you're basically gonna be an asshole and mount the 105mm howitzer, which will let you do significant damage and make a lot of people legitmately hate you.

I prefer the M1A1/2 over the 105mm because it has a faster fire rate and better accuracy than the 105mm.

Most tanks can get a Vert Stab by Tier 8 while the USA gets them early on some mediums.

Watch from about 08:13 and on for some actual footage of a Sherman/T26E3 going at it against a Panther. There's footage of the engagement from both sides and it's pretty amazing, and gruesome for the Sherman crew. The footage of the Panther's crew bailing out as the Pershing hits it a few times, and infantry shooting at them is probably the best combat footage I've seen out of WW2[/QUOTE]

If you stop moving in the IS-3 it typically means you're dead or soon will be dead. If you move enough you shouldn't be getting rammed in the ass or shot through your copula.

It was running on a Sherman Engine, but this thing didnt need speed when something met its 90mm gun and its 102mms of sloped armor. Let alone its mantlet and turret armor
I really want a Pershing in this game because it was one of the few high tier tanks that actually existed in WWII. Unfortunately for that very reason it's also one of the worst high tier tanks. (Or so I've heard. They're also pretty rare and very easy to kill so I don't have much confidence in getting one.)

Honestly, with its long 90mm the Pershing is pretty much one of the best(if not the best) tier 8 tank in the game. It may not have much armor, but then again not many other tier 8 mediums have armor and I'm pretty sure (off memory, unsure on the chinese tanks) it has the most frontal armor. Its mantlet is also a darkhole for shells, the 90mm has a nice velocity and great for sniping which rocks well with its high penetration. Its a tank i would really suggest to get. Plus it has looks!

Don't tempt me! Literally every line I have any significant progress down is worthless for Clan Wars and the American mediums would be no exception. I keep going for tanks I think are really cool and have been screwed over every single time by that. Curse my affinity for tanks that really existed.
The pershing has 200mm of frontal manlet armour, slightly sloped.

I really don't understand this game sometimes. Play with friends, get "eh" matches time after time, generally defeats most of the time. Play on my own? 8 battles in a row, all victories and really good experience to boot.
Maybe I'm just really unlucky when I play with friends.
