This game wants to see me in pain
I play in my leopard my 5x, and I get matched against tier IX, surprisingly I do well sticking around and being sort of useful, we win a close game, can't wait to see the stats NOPE game instantly crashes after the game is over for no apparent reason, now I can't jerk over that match

Also Pershing is huge, and not that mobile.

Personally I enjoy playing 12t. It's not op or anything (probably), but while I expected a painful grind, I have 60% winratio on it. On top of that, I quite often end up having top experience, like in this game, were I didn't really do well, but still:

Watch from about 08:13 and on for some actual footage of a Sherman/T26E3 going at it against a Panther. There's footage of the engagement from both sides and it's pretty amazing, and gruesome for the Sherman crew. The footage of the Panther's crew bailing out as the Pershing hits it a few times, and infantry shooting at them is probably the best combat footage I've seen out of WW2[/QUOTE]

Tank is meant to be in the thick of it. SPG is pretty much a general term for any weapon system that just happens to be mobile. Like SPAAG simply being a mobile AA gun.

Depends how you play it really, if you play it as a glass TD, then stick with what you have, if you're using it as an active scout, replace the camo net with coated optics.
So I did 2700 damage as a t71, some guy who did ~250 calls me a noob because I shot him from a bush

The Churchull VII was an absolutely miserable tank because you have so much trouble penetrating anything of equal or higher tier. Not to mention most things your tier and higher can go through your only redeeming factor, the armor.
The two best things you can do in the Churchill VII is always angle at the sweet spot, and take advantage of your turret armor.
I don't remember the angle, but at something like 20 degrees is your best bet. Your tracks will magically absorb a lot of damage, and at that angle your front and sides can bounce a decent amount of stuff. You will get tracked almost constantly. You definitely want your crew to have repairs as their first skill, except maybe sixth sense for commander.
The turret on the Churchill VII is also pretty good. When you have the chance, you want to facehug stuff of similar tier. The turret armor isn't [i]that[/i] good, but if you off-angle after every shot, or time your angling to coincide with their shots, you can bounce a surprising amount of shots.
That's really the best I can say. Most of the time shots will go clean through you no matter what you do, but when you fight stuff of lower tier it is a beast. All of the above applies to the Black Prince which is almost the exact same tank, except all that above stuff actually works.

Ferdinand is awesome as long as you use it correctly. It's 128mm can send IS-3s home crying if you hit them in the right spot and it can also deal heavy damage to Tiers 9 and 10s.
It used to be one of the most feared Tier 8 TDs out there before the gold rounds were made available to credit. But it's armor still bounces a lot of rounds.(I think a lot of people don't really use gold rounds anyway besides maybe tanks with mini derps)
But the Ferdi is like all TDs, a sniper and doesn't stand much of a chance in CQ.
Also, I'm thinking about selling one of my tanks and saving up credits to buy the Sherman again and grind up the American medium line while continuing to grind through the Jumbo to get the T29.

You're still better off getting the JP2. JP2 is better in all the places that matters now-a-days.
