I like the concept of having species themes based off major cultural periods. I wouldn't minds seeing a race made of Greek.Roman mythos. Or some industrialist corporate empire of sorts. Humans seem to be totally neutral at the moment.

better for stat tracking, letting you use your character from different computers (possibly) and making it easier to ban people from servers
I wonder, what if there was a random but slim chance of being boarded after warping into a star system?Or possibly boarding other ships? It's probably too much to ask for now but in the future? Of course if we get modding anything will be possible.
i'm kind of half-hoping there's going to be a way to restrict people from waltzing into somebody's world with decked out gear and shooting the fuck out of everything and making the game not fun. I remember in terraria i would always be the low level dude and all my high-tier friends would come in and ruin everything.

I hope there wont be many "tiers" of weapons and armour, in terraria there's lots of weapons but once you get to the end there's only one or two choices for each weapon type that are strong enough
I'd prefer if every weapon was mostly balanced and instead of finding better ones, or some sort of upgrade system that would make old weapons still worth using if you upgrade them

yeah, that'd be great provided there is little to no chance of finding a powerweapon that will let you plow all the way to the endgame

because I always get attached to my weapons, I like keeping the same weapon throughout the whole game
Son of a bitch. The Character Creator isn't saving images, but just formatless files. Anybody know how to fix it? I recreated the "Perverts" Apex and wanted to show it off.
Rename the file it gives you with .png at the end.
Yeah or right click the character, "Save Image As..." and save it as a png.
