This looks pretty awesome.
I had a lot of fun playing Terraria with my brother, but once we'd done a lot of the stuff it just kinda felt repetetive. This looks to have a lot more longevity, for me at least.

I think this will have much much higher replay value in general, seeing as it seems like getting started won't be so fucking slow like it was in Terraria. It's painful starting a new character and not having a grappling hook, Hermes boots, and double jump/flight. Plus building new bases was horribly slow, not to mention it's all up to luck whether or not you find a magic mirror.
Starbound's addressing a lot of this bullshit it seems seeing as everyone moves at a comfortable clip at default, you have a far build reach, and you're capable of teleporting back to your ship as long as you're on the surface
They need to hurry up and add Novakids to the character creator thing. I wanna make an interstellar gas-bag. :(
In the meantime have a gif I made of what my human will look like, probably.

I was thinking something similar. Instead of starting out and working through tiers of stuff to help you survive, you start out and work through finding stuff just to use it instead, or not, and keep using what you have

I'm just playing other game and listening to him while playing.
Honestly if you look close you can get some pretty interesting bits and pieces of information from Bart's streams.
He also [B][I]OCCASIONALLY [/I][/B] plays the game for short periods of time.
Argh I wish I had time to watch this. Hope you guys will post about anything interesting that he reveals.

Don't forget that their plan was to use the stretch goal money to hire additional people to do the Novakid assets, so don't expect that to happen right away.

I bought 2 copies, one for myself and one for a friend.
The second copy didn't seem to give me the option to gift it, it just added it as redeemed to my account straight away. I sent the people at the Humble Bundle site an email and they just told me it has been redeemed and that I'd have to buy a third key to get a gift to my friend.
So that means that it's a problem with THEIR site?
