No. There is one button to press to left click. In the options you can make it so you can use two fingers on the touchpad at once to right click. When we play CoD in class I use my right hand to click and move the mouse. I have my first finger on the button. My middle on the touch pad to aim. I then let my third finger press down on the touchpad so I have 2 fingers touching it. Then I click using my first finger to use the iron sight. Then I lift my third finger off to shoot. Its not that hard. If you've ever used a mac before you'll know its not even hard to play games.
I use a PC and I know its not hard to play games. Make that post say that its not hard to play games on a MAC. And the way you play your game sounds really complicated; there should be an easier way.
it's like christmas for mac users http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=874768 'This is good news for gaming on the Mac! It's going to be hard for content producers to ignore the Mac moving forward." They feel so empowered now.

First picture is the touchpad where you move the cursor, the rectangle below that is the button to click. Ok now here is how I play. Finger on the button and One finger on the touchpad to aim and stuff. When I want to right click to use the ironsight I just do this. Noticed how all I had to do was put 1 more finger on the touchpad?

Its the button below the trackball.

This is actually very true.
3/11 gabe will announce that valve and apple are teaming up. and we will all cry then he will run back to the mic and be like "CHEA RIGHT BITCHES" and then the ceiling will open and EP3 boxes will fall on people. greatest day in gaming history.
Implying Gabe can run more than a few feet without passing out.
touchpad to aim and stuff
this is exactly what i'm criticising touchpad is even worse than a control stick for aiming, plus it's awkward as hell
this is exactly what i'm criticising touchpad is even worse than a control stick for aiming, plus it's awkward as hell
If you feel that way then its your fault for playing on a laptop.
Mac: Hey guise we hav staem naow. Pc: Does your steam have over 1000 games available for purchase? Mac: Ummm....We have hl2! Pc: *facepalm*
HL2 is alot better than nothing
This is a very symbolic image on a few levels For one is shows that most PCs are gritty compared to macs, but are more versatile while macs are very clean, are easy to use, but are missing a few key features (and can tip over)

Just found some wallpapers made by someone on the Steam forums Mac Vs. PC (TF2 Sentry Vs. Portal Turret): http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/2594/macpc1920x1200.png Heavy Sandvich (iPod): http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/7818/95773052.png Hell yeah.

That is OSX, and there is a steam icon on the bar on the bottom. Is that really steam, or is it a joke?
:saddowns: EP1S0D3 3 DELAYED BY 6 YEARS SO WE CAN GIVE MAC SUPART /:saddowns:
You believe that because of the fud about how porting games across the platforms is really hard and time consuming, which was overstated so many times. Actually, once you get running port of the graphics engine in OpenGL, the rest of porting is pretty much easy. It will take only fractional part of the game development to get the port up, and it will be mostly done by different people than those who actually develop the content in the game. By the way, this process will be almost same for all Source games, as they need to get the Source working, and the small differences between games can be fixed with ease.
If Ep3 is going a mac exclusive, my main reaction would be iMad
If you feel that way then its your fault for playing on a laptop.
I don't play on a laptop, you're the one who said you do.
If Valve releases HL2 for osx I am going to be so pissed.
Why? Give us mac gamers a break. [editline]09:45PM[/editline]
this is exactly what i'm criticising touchpad is even worse than a control stick for aiming, plus it's awkward as hell
Who would you ever game with just a touchpad? You can just buy mouse.
Who would you ever game with just a touchpad? You can just buy mouse.
When I play cod with my friends in class we all use the touchpad. Its just you who has a problem using it.
When I play cod with my friends in class we all use the touchpad. Maybe i'm wrong, but i still think it would be better buying a cheap mouse
I meant OSX disabled right clicking on the Mighty Mouse. I know right clicking is important in OSX as well and you can do it with other mice. I have a Mac as well.
Did it? When I had a Mighty Mouse I remember being able to right click right away (but the mouse annoyed the hell out of me so when I bought a new mouse for my PC I hooked the old one up to my Mac)
