Boo fucking hoo.
You're cool. [editline]12:45PM[/editline]
I'd get an angle grinder/bolt cutter and cut through it.
So you're too cheap to buy the key.
You're cool.
:clint:
It's not like that at all. The pant leg is a part of the pant, an integral part. This is extra content that you don't need in any way to play the game.
How about I sell you a pair of pants for $50 but you can't use the pockets until you pay me more money? And I'm actually glad I didn't get Bioshock 2, not just because of this, but because I've heard that the game is overall disappointing. I've heard that even as a Big Daddy with SUPAR POW3RZ, you're pretty damn squishy at times.
It would be like a car manufacturer that sells you a car. You get the car and assume you get everything with it (Content), then the manufacturer says "You only get car and no keys. The key you have to buy" That's bullshit right? you own the car, you shouldn't have to pay the company more to use it. It should have came with it in the first place. (some what ok analogy, not the best)
That's not even an OK analogy, it just downright sucks. A better one would be where you buy a car, but if you want to use the radio/CD player/whatever in it, you have to pay before you can. Mind you, I'm also on the dickmove side of the fence on this conflict. Putting extra stuff on the disc, sure, but don't make us pay extra for it. If it's on the disc, why not just put it in? Same reason I hate launch-day DLC. If you have time to make it, put it in the fucking game!
Until it gets to the point where it's substantial, I'll be enjoying my games and not sperging because I didn't get everything for free. Both are horrible things but what do you expect when you're talking a community who thinks they're somehow genetically superior because they always prefer to play games hunched at a desk as opposed to on a couch? Exactly. It always baffles me when people go "Well xbox/ps3 fanboys are the worst, stupid contards" because pc elitism is dumb. I like all 3, I play most shooters with a gamepad regardless of platform, I like to play sitting comfortably as opposed to hunched.
That was the shittiest argument ever. Are you too weak to straighten your back when you sit at a desk or what? If yes, then you're probably also hunching your back when sitting on the couch.
But that'd be douchebag clothing :colbert:
Perfect for you!
you dont know the value of money do you you just fucking ask mommy for money and she hands it to you because youre a spoiled piece of shit well let me tell you, when you work, at a real fucking job, not allowance, and you earn your $60 for a game, and then someone tells you that it's additional $5 for the rest of the content, it's pretty aggravating it doesnt even matter if it's $5 or $50, they still shouldn't lock content on the disk, we paid enough already to play the game period
I've been working since I was 12 years old, albeit illegally, and for jack shit. Never got a penny for an allowance, had to pay for every gift I received until a few recently. I don't give a shit because having worked for everything I have, $5 is literally nothing. You also say "The rest of the content" as if it's a substantial amount though. I mean I spend $50 that I earned on a game, I find out there's some more content on the disk that I have to pay for. I shrug, look at what the content is and what the price is. If it's something that actually is substantial and costly, I'd get mad. But it never is, it's always some extraneous bit. Stop acting like $5 is a huge bit of money and that $50 is a gigantic amount of money. On minimum wage (at least in my state) that's about 6 hours of work for the full game, another hour for the DLC. [editline]08:08PM[/editline]
That was the shittiest argument ever. Are you too weak to straighten your back when you sit at a desk or what? If yes, then you're probably also hunching your back when sitting on the couch.
Nah, I like to lean back into my couch, in general people I know who play pc games don't do it sitting properly, they sit hunched over their keyboard. [editline]08:08PM[/editline]
Perfect for you!
oh god oh god someone who isn't angry because of $5 content they're clearly a douche.
DLC is killing the industry. It lowers standards and makes it appropriate for developers to seek profit by the promise of new content coming sometime, rather than just making a game worth playing in the first place. There aren't enough exceptions to this, like Valve having done for TF2.
you're naive if you think the same thing wasn't done for expansion packs
Reminds me of Modern Warefare 2 with all those game modes on the disk. Why charge me for something I already own?
Because you don't own it. Fucking retards.
you're naive if you think the same thing wasn't done for expansion packs
Expansions, at least in the old days were close to being full games. A lil bit shorter. Today's dlc is a bunch of new skins and maybe some sp levels if you're lucky.
Expansions, at least in the old days were close to being full games. A lil bit shorter. Today's dlc is a bunch of new skins and maybe some sp levels if you're lucky.
Just don't buy it then?
Haha, nickel and diming. Brings me back to the days of Tony Hawk 4 and their stupid ass online store.
