I don't know if this has been asked before, but how can I change from English to Japanese language in the speech? English sounds too tardy when used as dub.
good game unless you don't like a deep story
I gets deeper the longer you play it.
Well that's how FF works, this one is a bit less free than the others but the basics are the same. Also is Bahamut in this game? He has been in all (or nearly) FFs as far as I know.
If i remember the girl with the halberd (or double sided staff) has him. Fang i think her name is. [editline]02:24PM[/editline] here he is.
Played it for an hour. Wish I bought Bad Company 2, this is pretty boring, and I don't feel any need to progress because they only screens in the game are: - Battle Screen - Exploration Screen Waste of £60 (bought the stragety guide too)
oh, so were judging games on the most basic features of what it does then? Bad Company 2: Point, Click, Use Keyboard, Point, Click, Use Keyboard. It's a glorified Internet Browser then.

Have you ever bought an RPG? Ever?
Good job judging a 30+ hour game after playing for an hour. Have you ever bought an RPG? Ever?
I've put 300 hours into Demon's Souls. Apparently this game picks up after 20 hours. Fuck. That.
I've put 300 hours into Demon's Souls. Apparently this game picks up after 20 hours. Fuck. That.
final fantasy is a linear "follow this path" game, demon's souls isn't.
I don't know if this has been asked before, but how can I change from English to Japanese language in the speech? English sounds too tardy when used as dub.
You can't, which is kinda dumb since the dub sometimes doesn't sync up with mouths
You can't, which is kinda dumb since the dub sometimes doesn't sync up with mouths
:frown:
I must be retarded. Keep losing to [sp]Nix[/sp]. Wait. Nevermind. I'm just retarded. Thought the bar went on further when actually, it was full. Hehe.
You can't, which is kinda dumb since the dub sometimes doesn't sync up with mouths
It think it's fairly well done.
What chapter do you leave Cocoon in? I have a feeling thats when it gets exciting.
Why is it everytime I meet a damn Eidoion I get raped by it?
It think it's fairly well done.
Well, 9/10 it's usually timed right, but the other times the characters have their mouths open too early or left open Also, do PS3 users only have to use 1 disc instead of Xbox 3 discs?
Well, 9/10 it's usually timed right, but the other times the characters have their mouths open too early or left open Also, do PS3 users only have to use 1 disc instead of Xbox 3 discs?
yepp... atleast that's the case for me i'm currently with vanille and sazh on the way through this theme park,...it's been almost 18h now since i started playing this game and to be honest,... the battles are harder for me in this game, then battles from e.g. FFX after the same time-span... the reason for that may be the new ATB system, where you sometimes have to stay on your toes,...but once you time it right, you're in for a good and easy ride... another "issue" for me, is this "cristarium" or "sphere-grid", as i still like to call it... it just takes to much time to a: collect enough experience points to reach new advancements and b: you have almost no freedom to choose where you'd like to advance to... i've also noticed, that you get much less gil and items after a battle then in earlier games...that sure makes it more difficult to build up a plan, level up weapons and other things... so you're somehow forced to "battle"... the story up until now, is quite entertaining and i wouldn't even bother to call it "deep"... the only character that gets on my nerves sometimes, is hope (no idea why) it's probably a long way from where i am now, to the credits... but for an interim balance...i'd personally give the game a 85%
What chapter do you leave Cocoon in? I have a feeling thats when it gets exciting.
Chapter [sp]11[/sp]. That's when I started powergrinding. Been grinding for good 4-5 hours already.
final fantasy is a linear "follow this path" game, demon's souls isn't.
What. You can go to any world you want in Demon's Souls, but You're stuck in a single route in those worlds. That's Linearity. Un-linearity is when you have a wide open space to do what ever the fuck you want. Which is what FFXIII is when you open up Side-quests. I found the sweetest grinding spot at the start of Chapter 11. 10 second fight, 2200 CP, 10 Seconds to re-pop, Guaranteed Pre-emptive.
How many can they make?
does onyone hav a good strategy to defeat boss 11?
The boss I'm fighting is level 77 and has 129500 HP. I do 200 damage per hit... this is gonna take a while.
Stagger that monsters ass. Level is irrelevant as far as I know.
Stagger that monsters ass. Level is irrelevant as far as I know.
I can't stagger the damn thing good enough. I can get it twice in one battle and deal like a fourth of its health. Once it gets to below 50% though it does heave and unless I'm at full hp it will kill.

You can try and get protect and shell up before it attacks you, and try to lessen the damage.
Do you have a synergist? With like 100 HP left on Lightning. Nearly shat my pants. Why is it that they take your only sentinel away from you and don't give him back? That's evil. Its a bitch to fight a boss that does high damage without one.
Okay they really need to lay off the damn bosses. This is like the tenth boss I've faced this AFTERNOON alone.
Why is it that they take your only sentinel away from you and don't give him back? That's evil. Its a bitch to fight a boss that does high damage without one.
What fight was this?
What fight was this?
[sp]When they take away Snow, until you get Fang you have no Sentinel. And nearly every boss between there and beyond can do massive damage in one hit.[/sp]
Finished it, don't know what to think/say but guess I'll play some side missions and try for some trophies. auto haste. :iia:
[sp]When they take away Snow, until you get Fang you have no Sentinel. If I get in deep shit I go Com/Med to keep the chain going then swap back to Com/Rav, or spam potions.
