It's been medically calculated that if I lost most of my fat, I'd lose about 20-25 pounds. And I would easily gain that back If I were in much shape at all, I last hit this weight when I was a competitive swimmer and dropped off after we moved and I couldn't continue.
Also yes, I would consider myself strong, I guess. :| I'm as out of shape as you can get and I can still outmuscle most people I know. I'm lucky really, my father's family side is full of short heavy stocky people. Maybe we're secretly from this game :B
Alright, I launched DF for the first time in like a year or so lol, Time to ask a question about something that I never really figured out:
How the hell do I make each individual tile be SQUARE instead of rectangle? When I select a 6x6 area I want it to look square, not like a rectangle.. I am on the latest OpenGL version I think. Should I get a different version?

I fought off a badass goblin siege today. 35 invaders came. 32 various goblins. One human pikeman. One human axe lord (one of their leaders) and one goblin mace lord (their other leader).
There were no survivors.
That is, no enemy survivors. They killed about 3 dwarves of mine and 2 war dogs. The rest died. A bunch of the goblins got caught in traps, including the mace lord, and the rest got rocked straight to hell by dwarven might. It was the best Goblin Christmas ever. We've never killed anywhere near this many goblins in one attack. The engravers will be retelling these events for ages to come. I wonder what the goblins will do now that two of their leaders are dead... Will they get new ones?
Sadly, one of my recruits seems to be suffering from shellshock after this battle. She's thrown several tantrums lately, and actually killed one of the jewelers in her rage. I don't know what to do with her. She seems to have permanent brain damage.

My hunter was chasing a horse, then in the middle of the chase got chased by a magma man.
This ended up in the magma man getting shot to death instead of the horse.
My hunter luckily evaded the fire because he was out of bolts and had to return before re-establishing the hunt on the horse.

I'm getting pretty fuckin fed up with the DF wiki. First the address changed, and now every time I try to visit the new address, it just says something like "502 bad gateway" or "504 gateway error."

Most rocks are useless. Only rocks you gotta care about and look out for are metals (copper, iron, adamantine etc), flux stones, (limestone, chalk etc) gems and possibly obsidian. The rest are just different colours.

Also, Melanite is a gem. Use a gemcutter to cut it into something more valuable. It's usually used by fey mood dwarves to make an artifact.
