Tiberium leached minerals and elements from the ground. It would become condensed in the crystals on the surface. Tiberium could be harvested and refined into anything you needed, fuel, metals, or other minerals. Tiberium is highly radioactive however due to the way it extracts minerals from the ground. AS such exposure to it is hazardous and will cause mutation. This also causes it to convert whatever it comes into contract with into more Tiberium.
Let's just say it does whatever the plot requires. It is truly phlebotonium. But yeah, it takes all things around it and turns them into more of itself, which is basically the same thing as saying it sucks minerals out of the ground and makes crystals. Great material though.
Tiberium does have the property of fucking whatever shit it touches up.
This also causes it to convert whatever it comes into contract with into more Tiberium.
No, it only leeches the minerals, as you said. In TW, it becomes a useless lump of crap that destroys everything it touches by transforming them into more of itself. It doesn't store the minerals in the crystals anymore, the crystals are the Tiberium crap, which is worthless, since it doesn't have any minerals or anything. It's just . . . Tiberium.
Should I play Tiberium sun fist or Tiberium dawn?
Not only that, it's marked as a Beta build. The game was only in beta testing and hadn't moved onto the final engine or graphical build. The units were all supposed to be Voxel, but half of them ended up being sprites. Firestorm was also supposed to be a part of the game instead of an expansion.
Infantry voxels suck. A few mods had them, but sprites looked much better.
Should I play Tiberium sun fist or Tiberium dawn?
Dawn first then Sun!
Well, this is what really the basic of original tiberium. It went off to more unexplainable, biological fuckup with TS. Although, most of it could be blamed on radiation that it emitted. And the original "tiberium trees" emitted the substances much like that one of the tiberium vein holes. Thus, the tiberium itself does not control the terraforming, but the environment itself created the terraforming tools, with which it changes the planet. Tiberium was only a catalyst.
Man, that type of CG always makes me cringe. Sure, they couldn't make it any better with the tech from that time but still.
Dawn first then Sun!
I played sun first, then 6 year later i learned it wasn't the first game, but it's more understandable if you play dawn first.
