I haven't played MC in ages, so just a few quick questions to those that are actually following its development. Where are we on that modding API? Is the situation just as hopeless as it was 6 months ago? Anything that's worth playing for? Any brilliant overhaul mods that really make the game shine?

still isn't released yep there are a bunch of mods, even small ones improve the game a lot ftb really changes minecraft completely, it made me interested in it. i recommend you play inacio's server

I think someone xray'd my shit on a PVP server because they went for a single hidden chest w/ valuables in it and didn't touch anything else. They also didn't take long to find it because the sugar canes had barely grown. Either really lucky or really cheating.

9/10 it's cheating, especially if there's no evidence of trying to find it.

The most obvious clue to xray is 1x2 tunnels straight to an open area that would have been a vein.

[t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/oops23.png[/t] I raided some guy's shit on a PvP server then he tried to kill my friend and I with invis pots & enchanted iron swords (server had a /home command so he kept coming). I got quite a few free enchanted iron swords from it though.

Time for some more, they should have done this discussion. The trading needs some more enhancement. I thought when trading was announced we would have be able to trade the rubies *Emeralds now*, gold, diamonds, iron, and for goods. Now its just emeralds and those are pretty hard to find. What they should have done was make it so Gold, Diamonds, and maybe Rubies as types of currency as well so trading is at least more plausible. Emeralds would i suppose be the best supplier for trading, diamonds second, maybe the other way around. then Ruby, then gold. Hell maybe even add Sapphires while your at it.
