Especially considering how massive Forge is now.
On an unrelated note, does anyone know how specifically the old beta-style terrain generation is written differently from the new kind?

And there sadly doesn't seem to be a way to disable that.
Change the background panorama pictures to what they used to be? I think they're in the jar file, last I checked.
Stone and clay golems might be able to help.
You'd still need a system to refill the buckets.
Could I maybe pump water into a liquid transposer, have the transposer fill a bucket, then have one golem carry the filled bucket over to the water mill, then have another golem carry the empty bucket back to the transposer again?
Or maybe I could just magically bring some broomsticks to life to do this for me while I take a nap
Yeah, I think you should, many texture packs already have their own, even when they were in development.
Dear Esther / Half life texture x64 pack (mostly HL) coming along slowly. Finding it nigh-impossible create and colour the grass textures and ferns etc, those I really need to get spot on. Comments, suggestions, improvements?

Cobblestone looks a little flat, and bedrock? is looking strange. Other than that, nice for a high-res pack.

It's the first 32x pack I've ever done. And thanks
Zakkin, there's some nice shadding on the stone bricks. With the cracked brick they look to swirly, why not have a look at fractured brickwork or crumbled brickwork for references. Other than that, it looks pretty damn good for a first attempt!

Looks impressive. What's it do?
(eventually) prints Hello World.
Look up Brainfuck.
Honestly befunge is a better fit for minecraft
Maybe, but this is simple enough that I could implement it all with blocks.

Easier to interpret too. I've only got the weekend to code this.
I think I'm going to program a turtle to execute befunge programs
I made a video showcasing my automatic solarpanel and cable placer that'll keep going in a distance and just keep placing solarpanels. Oh, and I mainly made the video for odedex (LP'er) so..
oh and like last time, no voice, only smooth jazz.

Whatever happened to those servers that hosted the earth map, I can't seem to find them anymore.
is noone interested in faction wars on the earth map anymore?
Awww yeah, getting interviewed by Searge.
A mod to make combat like Chivalry's would be the greatest shit ever.
Dammit, I'm messing around with computercraft again despite having shit due at school. Wired modems change everything, sharing one floppy drive is really useful and having the ability to list off everything connected is going to make programming a lot easier.
Turns out you can't rig fluid pipes (not to be confused with waterproof pieps) to refineries and whatnot.
Liquiducts are where it's at man

Steam overflow tanks that fill when my redstone energy cells are full, same circuit shuts off the engines too. Might make a steam turbine eventually.
Does anyone know exactly which mobs work with the soul shards mod? I know I can make a spawner for passive mobs like cows and pigs, but what about villagers? Or iron golems? Or creatures that are added by DivineRPG?
Also, do the spawners of passive mobs also require darkness to function? Or do they work in light, since the mobs normally spawn in light?
(As) Soon...(as I'm done)

Also, CowThing, if you read this, can I use some of your custom colors for my pack? (You may've noticed the pine, though I'm not keeping it)
Yeah sure. I've changed nearly every color in the next update of my pack anyways. :v:
