And you still haven't monetized that video? I remember you talking about 1.7mil unmonetized videos, now you got 300k more views and no ads :c Also that video kind of got me into minecraft, so thanks for wasting a ton of my life :v:
I got denied when the video was around 400k views. I lost out on like 4-6 thousand dollars. I have 100% permission from notch and from mindthings to make money on the video and youtube said I didn't... have permission. The most I can do is keep monetizing the copy of the video on my new main channel, which is around 80k hits and share that one.
Uggh , Way to lazy to Repost entire thing http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1251774
Uggh , Way to lazy to Repost entire thing http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1251774
First of all, you only waited like ten minutes before coming here; second, "way to lazy to Repost" isn't a fucking excuse; third, you provided absolutely nothing useful for others to figure out what the root(s) of your problems might be, you just enumerated your issues.

Does anyone know of a way to change an area's biome, outside of WorldEdit or MCedit? I've got a problem: I started building a project in what was meant to be a kind of throwaway world, so I didn't start it out with the intention to build. It's a desert, and I need it to be *not* a desert. Preferably a forest or swamp, but the specific biome isn't the issue. The world is also extremely mod-heavy (I'm using Twilight Forest trees, for example) so I can't use MCedit, because not only has it refused to change the biome for me (it always throws an error at me) but if I modify the world, it'll screw up all the mod blocks. I've been using WorldEdit for a lot of terraforming, but the setbiome function is broken (apparently there's a lot of broken parts in the SinglePlayerCommands version, which I'm using). Does anyone have suggestions for what I could use or how I could change the biome, with a method that keeps the world as intact as possible? I'm using all Forge mods, which I guess makes things slightly easier.

But it can't hurt to try it out after backing up.
Ok so I wasn't following Minecraft news since last July, and now I want to set up a tekkit server to play with friends. What happened, why are there two versions of tekkit now, what is FtB, what happened to bukkit? Enlighten me please

Enlighten me please
Feed the Beast is a series of modpacks in the same launcher, some really good stuff in there. Works exceedingly smoothly and I personally prefer it to Tekkit. You can see a comparison of their different modpacks here: http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/ftb-pack-comparison.4727/ Not sure about the 2 versions of Tekkit, unless you're referring to Technic and Tekkit, which was merely an SSP/SMP distinction iirc, now obsolete.
FTB has pretty much supplanted Tekkit as the big go-to modpack at this point. Bukkit is still around, to my knowledge, but I don't know a whole lot more than that. Forge is the big mod API thingy now, which is frankly rather nice because Forge mods are usually an easy drag-and-drop install; FTB uses Forge. Bukkit doesn't play nice with Forge unless one or the other is modified, last time I checked. (which was a while ago)

I remember more of those things (not only wood, cobble, stone and nether) being in the old tekkit. What happened to them? I'm using Tekkit Lite Edit: nvm they're still here, the default creative menu does not want to show them for some reason

I recommend you make the change, it's much better, the mods are better integrated, *cough*anditsnotilegal*cough*
If you knew how fast these windmills spun during storms, you'd want to prevent "X was decapitated" messages from showing up. I mean, dang. Two full revolutions per second. [t]http://i.imgur.com/x4RMJkJ.png[/t] Wish I could show a *.GIF of it spinning so fast.
Try the EnderStuff mod, it has a biome changer iirc.
Made by the same guy who did ClaySoldiers? Thanks, I'll give it a shot.

I'd be surprised if not, Eloraam is usually good at doing those types of small things.
Maybe, but can I transfer my map? It has quite a lot of mod blocks in it
You would have to compare Tekkit's and FtB's mods, I'm sure it'll be fairly alright as far as blocks go, but I'm not so sure about things like MoreHealthRPG and the like, if Tekkit still has that kind of stuff. Just make sure to back up before trying anything, safe as it may appear.
Can someone actually help me out in installing Smart Moving to Tekkit Lite and it's server counterpart?
Maybe, but can I transfer my map? It has quite a lot of mod blocks in it
You'd have to make sure all the block IDs matched from Tekkit to FTB. If they don't, then it's going to be a painful amount of manual work to edit the configuration files, as Manibogi said, comparing the two to see which IDs need to be reallocated.
Me and my friend playing on a LAN server, when I try to connect, I get internal server error. We're using hamachi and we have about 40 mods, anyone have any idea? We've tried deleting my player.dat
And a couple mods have stopped working. Improved First Person is one, maybe others on his end.
Yeah, it might be incompatible with some mod we have, once again, we have like 40.

It allows users to create modpacks which can then be downloaded and updated through the new Technic Launcher. I highly recommend the PlusSigma pack, which is crammed full of adventuring mods. You'll probably horribly die as often as in Dark Souls. There are a hell of a lot of packs already. Take a look! As for Tekkit Classic and Lite, AFAIK Classic uses Bukkit and runs on an older version of Minecraft, while Lite is the newer Forge based version.
Mojang uploaded the Redstone Update Pre-Release. The update will officially be released Wednesday, March 13.
• Removed Herobrine
As we can see Mojang are still really good at jokes.

By the way we're always playing creative so dying isn't really an issue. [sp]why would anyone care omg[/sp]
Wait, how is technic pack illegal? Distribution of minecraft.jar or something? [sp]why would anyone care omg[/sp]
They didn't ask for permissions from mod makers. and are just general dicks.
Also, I wish every mod's texture was like Redpower's. Those block textures are pure sex.
Do windmills actually kill you at that rate? I'd be surprised if not, Eloraam is usually good at doing those types of small things.
I wished. You just can't enter the area a windmill takes up. Does anyone else find ComputerCraft computers a little overpowered? A handy terminal in a simpler language that handles what RedPower's computers can for a fraction of the cost.
Wait, how is technic pack illegal? Distribution of minecraft.jar or something? [sp]why would anyone care omg[/sp]
Technic, Tekkit and the YogBox, none of them really asked the modmakers for permission, even when some mods explicitly refused to be redistributed in modpacks.
Oh my, railcraft had that sexy concrete block, I always used it for the floors, now it's gone from Tekkit Lite. I'm tempted to install railcraft just for that block :v:
