Is the loadout in Portal 2 down for anyone else? I was gonna see what the potato pack skin looked like but it can't connect to steam.

What are the Potato Pack skins anyway?

I miss the times where you bought the game just got all the content, you bought it once and then didn't need to worry about money anymore. But oh well, I can see the developers' motivation to make a in theory infinite amount of money after the game launch, especially when introducing consumable items. Doesn't stop me from not liking the concept. Still, hope the main game is good (Didn't preorder Portal, I'll wait for reactions before buying it), so I hope everyone enjoys themselves despite... fucking hats.

Still at 0%... Maybe by the time I get to play portal 2, episode 3 will be out.

Playing. It's fun so far. And pretty. I am amazed how the Source Engine can do such beautiful work even with minimum system requirements.

I remember having shouting matches on-line 6-7 years ago with people who thought DLC was cool and it was the "right" of the developer to give us "extra" content. I (and a clever minority) saw this future coming . . . oh well. The best thing to do is STOP FUCKING BUYING DLC. Maybe, just maybe the devs/pubs will get the fucking clue. Remember, kids, you, [I]the consumer[/I], have the power. Use it.

I'm a bit mad at Valve right now, but I'm sure this game will make up for all. So far it has been amazing, like...The best game I've ever played.

Fuck steam, release an update for Portal 2 instead of "decrypting" my game files. Seriously, it's like it wont even move past 13%

So uh, anyone running Portal 2 on a 7900gs and dual Intel Xeons? Didn't think so. Guess I have to wait until mine comes in the mail to find out how well it runs.
