How'd you get so many? I only have 2. One from the potato pack and one for beating SP.
I loved the little tinkle of the Portal when you fired it [sp]at the moon[/sp] :buddy:
Holding her breath, i guess.
Its pretty cold there too.
Helpful hint if you're ever teleported into space, or suffer from an unfortunate air lock malfunction
Don't hold your breath in a vacuum
You know how balloons pop if you over inflate them? Now imagine that happening to your lungs.
Been stuck on 18/22 for ages, it's more frustrating than fun right now.

Me too. I can't figure out how to get past.

At that part I was thinking "Wait I can't do that, can I?" Then I saw that and started laughing.
[sp] Also, I found quite a mistake on Valves part. When you "kill" wheatly by fireing the portal at the moon. It's night, but when you get outside it's plain daylight. How the actual shit? [/sp]
32% decrypting... this is going to take a while. It's been 32% for 15 minutes now...
[editline]19th April 2011[/editline]
Screw that, now it's 33%.
[editline]19th April 2011[/editline]
HOLY SHIT IT RUSHED TO 100%, going to play right now :buddy:
Lucky, mine's been going 8 hours now 80%
Hope you find it as good as everyone is saying it is :D
Also, when is the Portal 2 SDK coming out?
is there any way I can use -nosound, but with dialogue still playing? Playing without -nosound make smy gamme stutter to hell and back. Unplayable :smith:

[sp] I remember Chell being unconscious for a bit.[/sp]
Me too. I can't figure out how to get past.
I had that problem too.
[sp]Then I remembered you CAN WALK THROUGH PORTALS. You'll forget at least two more times.[/sp]
[sp] I remember Chell being unconscious for a bit.[/sp]
[sp] Well gotta go play that chapter again then. But I don't recall that bit [/sp]
The ending was nothing short of epic and beautiful. Portal 2 gets a 10/10 for me.

The obvious question would be 'how much does your computer suck'.
Or to put it friendlier, specs?
I haven't finished the game yet, but the area after [sp] the long fall[/sp] just had an absolutely AMAZING sense of scale to it. I actually gasped when I had first seen it.
Also, I'm at chapter 9, how far is that into the game?
Alright, so I just finished it. Best fucking ending ever, [sp]despite being a little far out. There were some inconsistencies with the general Half-Life universe that I didn't understand though.
When you entered the Aperture Science center from the fifties, you saw all those 2nd spot diplomas, implying that they always lived in the shadow of Black Mesa. This seems fine, except that Black Mesa is named after the location of the facility, which was a decommissioned cold war missile base, so it doesn't really make sense that they were to be around during the 40ies and 50ies where the base would most likely still be in use (and probably not even made in the 40ies).
Secondly, you saw a poster of the portal gun from the fifties, but that is also in conflict with the previously established fact that Black Mesa and Aperture Science competed to be the first to make functioning portal technology, and Black Mesa won, but that was in 200-. I get that it was probably because the artists didn't care, but I'm too much of a Half-Life nerd to just let those things slide.[/sp]
edit: and now I expect an Episode Three soon (no, not because of anything in the game, no spoilero), this year at least. The hint Valve gave yesterday gave me new hope.
Done, god damn that ending was brilliant.
Excelent job VALVe, that personality core was hilarious.
SP spoiler [sp]The cube-turrets were pitiful to watch :([/sp]
Guys nobody has an extra code for the rollcage skin?
Does anyone else get a mysterious huge fps drop in test chamber 20?

Or maybe, Aperture is glorifying itself.

it sucks much
P4 2ghz, 1gb ram.
that's why I am looking for a way to play with -nosound except dialogue and music still working.
no sound at all ruins the experience. :smith:
The only things I feel let Portal 2 down was the fact that, in my case at least, it felt shorter than Valve said it would be, and that in some areas it isn't clear what you are supposed to do.
But apart from that, it was great!
Just finished SP, [sp]Saddest/most amazing ending ever, so awesome, I felt so terrible for Wheatly in the end[/sp]

You can always put on closed capitations if any other way doesn't work.

Yeah was like, "Whoa, F12."

Don't look if you haven't been to that area yet ya'll.

It felt longer to me.

What the hell, I did that at exactly the same point.

it's totally different experience when you read it

Because it was always crystal clear what you had to do in Portal 1.

Then save up and upgrade, problem solved.
