[sp]Prequel would be cool, go back in time and science like a mothafuka with Cave Johnson[/sp]
[sp]Weren't you listening? The Lab Boys said that if you make eye contact with your past self you will destroy all time. It's too risky.[/sp]
That friendly robot has the best voice acting I've ever heard.
minor hilarious spoilers

[sp]As long as you go back far enough it shouldn't be a problem. So before the 1980s.
Besides, I wouldn't take anything they said too seriously. Or not seriously enough. I'm not sure which.[/sp]
[sp]Errm, soo, Portal story ended? AND WHAT ABOUT SOME HL2: EPISODE 3 REFERENCES?[/sp]
Just finished it... TWICE v:v:v
Waiting for coop budy to finish it, but probably wont be able to play the coop part, oh well.

[sp]I'm not sure what use they will be if they're exploded[/sp]

[sp]Well if you really were in stasis for 9999 whatever it wases, and Portal 1 was already set in the near future (This decade I'd say), Half-Life 1 set in 200X and HL2 20 years later (202X), the combine were obviously defeated and life on earth has recovered.
That or Humanity was wiped out and Chell is fucked[/sp]
Okay. Extracting the sounds now which will be followed by replacing them with empty ones. Hopefully it will work. Wish me luck!
it's a lot of files.
anyone know of some handy program to replace all the files with one, but keep the names?
I agree with this.

[sp]...Wait, they're exploded? DAMNIT, I didn't play co-op yet.[/sp]
I know it was kind of obvious already what happened to the Borealis, but I think Portal 2 kind of cements how it got to be where it is.
[sp]My eyes exploded when I found the bay with the life ring with Borealis written on it.[/sp]
[sp]dude tell me where that was. I missed it :([/sp]
Speaking of which, I finished the game in under 4 hours. And I don't know if that is my fault or not. I didn't exactly scoop around for references/easter eggs, or trying to find things that related to the backstory. If I found one however, I would stare and ponder upon it for some minutes. And the puzzles were all relatively easy in my opinion. The hardest one was probably [sp]no. 17? The one were you have to spray repulsion gel on three turrets guarding a button[/sp]. Took me ages to figure out. I'm glad the co-op is there, and the fact that custom maps will be a fact in the future.
[sp]Who ever said it ended? ATLAS and P-Body, bro.[/sp]
[sp]Chell is more fappable. And, I, I just wanted some post apocaliptic panorama at the end, but not just simple field[/sp]

Do not read if you haven't finished co-op
[sp]But there was still an awful lot of cryogenically frozen humans down there at the end, and that field at the end of SP was obviously farmed. So I'm wondering whether it's time travel (G-Man/others manipulating Chell, as she is obviously a resourceful individual), or what.[/sp]
Stuck on the The itch chapter..
[sp]The testing chamber goes like this, there is blue gel on one side, three turrets behind glass, a button and the blue floating thing. I took the turrets down, but now i don't know how i get to the exit...[/sp]
Stuck on this for a while, can't seem to make it over..

[sp]Not necessarily, but considering how glados is, she's not going to let them just galavant around after their testing is complete, and her alterior motive is achieved.[/sp]
So many spoilers, use the annex!

There is a picture a few pages back explaining it, along with detailed instructions. Top of the page IIRC.
Wow that e1915.bsp is fucking awesome.
so many black rectangles in this thread
Glados's suprise really got me D:
Could someone help me make a .bat file which would find every *.wav file and replace it with my selected file, while keeping the original name? I am kinda lame at this.

[sp]After taking down the turrets their little outcrop should be coated in gel. Now place a portal at the end of the blue-move-o-thing-field, I'll call it a wavy because. And another on any floor pad, let it take you to the top of the room. Now shoot the portal which is at the end of the wavy at the angled platform which came out when you pressed the guarded button, it will cut off the wavy and send you falling through the portal in the floor with enough momentum to hit the gel and bounce to the exit.[/sp]
I dont know if am late but did [sp]anyone else spot Ratman behind all the turrets while going up in the elevator at the ending? If you look at the right, you can see him sneak behind them, then later on you can see his shadow on the wall, he stops, looks around, steps forward, looks around again and so on[/sp]
Are you sure? I couldn't see anything that looks like that.
I'm a bit stuck on one of the test chambers, can anyone help me out?
[sp]It's the test chamber on Chapter 8 where Wheatley tells you that he'll be recording you from now and that you should finish it about ten times faster. The test contains an aerial faith plate, two of those laser guiding cubes, one of those gravity tube things and I think that's about it. Hopefully that's descriptive enough. Anyone know how to finish it?[/sp]
Are you sure? I couldn't see anything that looks like that.
[sp]Look to the right, you'll see something white with a companion cube sneak behind them and then later you can see the shadow, its in the part with all those turrents including the fat and giant one[/sp]
Wow that e1915.bsp is fucking awesome.
Details?

No, that is not it. [sp] that is one of Wheatleys cube turrets [/sp]
Oh hey I have a question. At the end of the game when all the turrets are singing, there is a black silhouette in the background moving. Did anyone see what it was?
