I can't remember what chapter the borealis reference is in (I think it's the cave johnson levels, sometime after wheatley puts you at the bottom of the complex and before you find Glados.
There is a door hidden behind a closet in one of the offices and behind the door are 3 doors that have Cave Johnson audio and an open door that has the bay where the borealis was.
