It's funny how the most popular indie games are the last to finish.
Random update?

The required number of hours is connected to the total number of owners of the game, so it makes sense.
Portal 2 just released an update at about 100 mb, what was that about?
VPKS updated
Is the GamingMasters site more accurate than Glados@Home?

I hope so o.o
EDIT:
Or does Glados@Home not take into account the progression over time, in which case GamingMasters is correct?

When we finish KF, SMB, And DG the countdown timer will go down SIGNIFICANTLY. And if we finish Amnesia it'd probably hit 0.
thanks, but when i converted it to apng, the file doesn't move aaaa
I just finished this one up its not as close up though. Any Gold members that want to use it can its file size is only 29.2k

The GamingMasters site (afaik) calculates the predicted release time based on if things continue as it is. I think it lost its accuracy after the overclock kicked in. GLaDOS@Home's release time is purely based on CURRENT % complete.

So... I was playing around with That Can Be My Next Tweet, and I got this little gem.
"Cave Johnson here, that's it, go directly to work on my house."
I think it's fitting, given the situation.
I'm Cave Johnson, we're done here.

Taking.
don't want to hear any whining when portal 2 doesn't meet your over-hyped expectations. i beat portal in 1.4 hours today. expecting the same time to complete portal 2.

Its apparently a lot longer. According to someone who has opened the VPK (or are they still GCFs?) files (I have not, don't want to risk spoiling it so I cant confirm. Spoiler tags in case someone doesn't want to see how many levels it has) [sp]there is apparently ~68 map files, close to the number EP2 has[/sp]
I can't wait any longer dammit.
I received a 100MB update to Portal 2 what

Episode 2 had like 14 maps :colbert:

You do know there's co-op?
That brings a whole new level, and it will have modders coming in from all areas making map packs. Can't wait to play Portal 1 in co-op mode.

I'm sure you paid no attention to anything that dealt with the storyline.
I don't think Portal 1 was ever intended to blend in with the HL2 story as much as it eventually did, Portal 2 however is another story, and they took much more time to develop it.

i'm talking about the actual story singleplayer of portal 2. not co-op or modders.

675mb of somewhat around 24 maps. (4 of them being backgrounds)

There are more puzzles than the first one, since the first one didnt have all the brdiges, excursion funnels, gels, etc. And it looks a lot more developed. Also, people kept confirming that Portal 2 is a lot longer than Portal 1.
