And then Axe blinks in and does what he does best. 10000000 damage ult. Purges any buffs that would block or stop them dropping below 1 health. I'm shocked people still don't realise that attacking Axe is giving him exactly what he wants - Helix proc chances. Then they complain Helix is broken because he became a goddamn juicer.
It's so horrible when a guy on the other team picks Axe and your own team proceeds to pick absolutely zero stuns. Axe then proceeds to intercept every single wave of creeps and take rax at 10 minutes. gj guys, truly
so guys, where i can play this omg* mode? Seems very fun
night stalker's skill build is pretty variable because you pick up your ult as soon as you can after the first night begins and then spam it every time it's off cd until day comes around again. so you could have it anywhere from level 6-8 depending on how much xp you're getting.
About the whole "action medusa" thing: I found the build I was trying to copy from memory. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=133944460 The guy changed it. He maxes snake early now. Still level 1 stats.
Any build that skips Snake is terrible, imo. It's an insanely powerful harass tool that allows Medusa to establish lane dominance quickly. Unrelated, am I the only one who finds Lion's animations hilarious? Tiny dwarf-like thing that just flicks his little arms to toss out massive spikes while yelling SPIIIIIIIIKE, turns the enemy into a frog or comes out with this gigantic fucking laserbeam of death.

Also, I just had the ultimate stomping as Lion, it got to a point where, when Pudge hooked me, I right clicked him to death without my ulti.

Medsua still has use in team fights early after getting ult and if you pull off some good snake jumps.
So i tried Timbesaw today... Oh god his timberchain is so awesome Weeeeeee Also building a linken's sphere on timbersaw is like giving everyone who tries to stop you the middle finger
While we're on the topic of Medusa, last game I was in we noticed that Medusa was going to be ancient jungling, so we made a combined effort to absolutely ruin her day. I pick bounty and sit invis in the ancients, Veno put both plague and observer wards in it, and when both Pudge and Medusa came looking for us, they ended up blocking the camp spawn anyway. Medusa had to act as the support after that, as we'd ganked and killed her so much that she had no hope of ever getting farm. It was like they had a Crystal Maiden without any disables, she had to buy all the wards and I think half the gems. http://dotabuff.com/matches/169146474 There were another 1-2 gems, but we destroyed those due to an overabundance of them. We only bought one of the gems.

Lion is one of my favorite int heroes, he's badass as fuck but still has some debth in his design, even though 3 out of 4 of his spells are ripped off from other heroes. (Nyx' Impale, Rhasta's Hex, Lina's ult)[Sort of Pugna's Drain too, but different mechanic.] Pubbers tend to put him in a sidelane, I prefer him mid due to his insane ganking once he gets few levels off. Once he gets a blink farmed up enemies drop all over the map all the time. He also enjoys having a bottle, combine that with Urn + Arcanes = You can gank nonstop without going to base.

It's essentially a free kill for the team, it's so straightforward in its presentation of just being 'press r to pwn the dude'. The fact that it's given to the 2 people with such good burst damage and stuns is what really confuses me. I suppose that they're meant to be squishy int heroes that need teamwork to kill, but if they so much as see you alone then it's just stun > nuke > ulti and you're gone. It's balanced and all, it just never made sense to me.
Arcanes on lion? Seems off.
Aye; E usually annuls the need for most Mana restoration since you can eat the enemy's Mana if they're close enough. I think that's why Tranquil Boots are in his recommendeds, so he can stay in lane longer in combination with his Mana Drain ability. Speaking of which, the buff to Tranq Boots was quite necessary, since previously they felt weak. Also, speaking of Items, I assume they still have yet to introduce any new Items into the builds just yet. Shame, I was kinda hoping for a Kusanagi to make the Quelling Blade actually build into something. It just feels kind of off for such a low-level non-consumable to not build into anything, it feels as if it needs something to make it's purchase a worthwhile investment for the later stages, otherwise it's just an item leftover from the early stages that you just trash once you need the space for a better item. Are there any threads that have suggestions for new in-game items? (not the cosmetic kind found in the store, the purchased kind you get from shops during matches)
Arcanes on lion? Seems off.
If you max Lion's Q and W your kill potential is insane - Mana drain is not worth it in most cases, sure you can level it say if youre against a silencer and need to remove curse or something, or if you're dealing with a morphling/chaos knight/spectre etc you can mana drain instakill their illusion. I'm not denying mana drain is a good skill but dont get a level and think "lol i'll just spam my stun in lane and mana drain it back" - if you dont NEED it, dont take it. Not to mention, you need a bigger mana pool to pull off a combo, not to mention the instant mana boost yourself makes sure you can use all your important skills and maybe even another disable after that. Plus, what if there are no other arcane holders on your team? There's nothing wrong about Arcane boots on a Lion. His spells are expensive as shit and need to be used in a fight. Not to mention if you level Mana drain enough to make it useful, your other skills will be behind - and to be honest you're going to want to disable people rather than standing there leaning forward and stealing 40 mana from someone.

Plus, you also supply your team's mana while at it too. And Lion can basically make use of any boots in the game, why not take the ones that help your team? And about the ult being a huge-ass nuke: You use it on targets that are sure to die, but you don't use it to finish a guy off with 200 hp left. Like you know you can stunlock this Juggernaut, and if you use your ult along with your CC and help from a fellow teammate you are able to kill him? Do it. Just make it count when you use it, In this case if you combo your shit wrong Juggernaut may get off a spin+tp to escape your gank and you will be sitting there looking awkward as fuck when you could have finished him if you used the ulti right off after your 1st spell, not saving it for the finishing blow. Basically; use it right off the bat when you start your gank, personally I do Hex > Finger, ending with Impale right before Hex wears off, throwing autoattacks over the duration of the entire combo.
Any build that skips Snake is terrible, imo. Exort is where all the fun Invoker abilities are, what use are you with your Tornado/EMP?
How do you counter bloodseeker god damn

I really miss the battlefury-equivalent from HoN, it could cut trees. So useful.
How do you counter bloodseeker god damn
Stuns and TP scrolls.
People are probably tired of hearing this, but there is only one way to build Timbersaw, that being Bloodstone. It simply gives him everything he needs, except for the movement speed he gets from boots and a teleport. I really don't recommend going Linken's on him next time you play him, unless you get it after the Bloodstone. Sure, it gives you some health regen and mana regen but it doesn't give you the raw health and mana that you also need.
You know what? You're right Normaly I only build a bloodstone but last game i also build a linkens just because those stuns, mana leaks, whatever were pissing me off Also we were about to win this game anyway :v: Oh one more question: After i disassembled my mana boots for the blood stone what should i upgrade it into? Boots of travel or Power Treads?

Is Naga ever picked in competitive play? I haven seen her picked, but I imagine that her ult and net would be extremely useful in comp play.
she used to be picked LOADS in 2012 the meta changed over time though
