Have fun trying to lane invoker mid
if I'm going quas/wex invoker chances are there's a better mid and I'm letting that guy mid
I totally get it if you're midding against someone like qop or sniper where they'll pick off every creep before your projectile gets there, but I prefer utility invoker in a lane as opposed to mid invoker

If you're playing someone with damage, you're going to lose the lane hard unless you're sidelane. Then it's dependent on your lane partner.
For a mid invoker, Quas exort is the best build purely because of the last hitting potential along with the chance of snagging a kill. Quas - wex CAN work but only if they don't have a strong mid hero. The reason quas wex has the potential to work is because invoker can simple tornado the current wave to allow for his creeps to move up then cold snap the enemy when they land. This will almost guarantee a first blood unless you're against a good mid hero.
Quas Wex invokers in my opinion should stay in the sidelane. The regen from quas allows you to harass the enemy without any repercussions in terms of health loss as it regens in 3 seconds. Cold snap and tornado also allow for the setting up of easy kills to allow your lane partner to get fed.
What are you talking about, all abilities based mainly on Wex are not that useful at all, you only need one point in wex to be able to Ghost Walk, Meteor and Blast.
Exort master race.
4 points in quas max wexort master race

if you dont level wex you have no damage to last hit, your skills dont to damage, and QW spells not only are expensive enough but you have no int from the exort levels to help that

Which is why I said it's better to sidelane. QW used to be able to win mid, now you can't.
icewall has 140% slow
how does that work?
icewall has 140% slow

You collapse inward and create a black hole
icewall has 140% slow

You move backwards.
(you actually have like 10 MS or something obnoxious)
You move backwards.

Min speed is something like 100. So with no +speed, it doesn't matter whether you have a 100% slow, 140% slow or 5000% slow applied on you, you move at 100 units per second.
However, since some spells and items increase your movespeed, 140% is more effective than 100%.

Attack or movement speed? If movement speed, then it just reduces it to the lowest possible speed (which is 100 I think), if attack speed then it's not an actual percent, it's just reduced 140 flat points. For some reason they refer to it as 'percent', I think it's because attack speed is measured by 100 increments (but it goes past that; 400 I think).
[editline]9th April 2013[/editline]
The only REAL percent-based attack speed modifier is Invoker's Alacrity.

It is referred to as percentages because it is based on the base value. +30 attack speed means the attack speed is increased by 30% of his base attack speed, not the total one.
just played zeus for the first time, wow. as long as your team has any cc, that shit is easy mode dota 2.
[editline]9th April 2013[/editline]
unfortunately I'm also on a fucking miserable losing streak where I've dropped 9 of the last 10

100% slow is 100 movement speed,
fuck it
fuck it
fuck it
I don't even know
fuck it
There has been one english speaker in my past 5 matches that has been on my team
I'm 3 negative. I used to be 9 positive. Fucking hell this is unbelievable.
Matchmaking painting a goddamn target on me and telling Brasil and Russia to aim for the bullseye.
its just a game dude
I know, but it's frustrating when you fulfill your role and end up losing because your team thinks it's a good idea to stick Riki Medusa CK and Sven (all building carry) on the same team and then scream at you in Portuguese over the mic for 70 minutes.
Time to teach the idiot!
Bounty hunter is one of my favorite Dota 2 heroes, both character wise and playstyle wise. My general build for him Boots > Urn > Drum > Sometimes medallion > Linkens if there are strong stunners or nukers > Deso if I need bigger damage.
Skill build is usually maxing Jinada first, then Shadow Walk, then shuriken while taking ult whenever possible.
I play him as a ganker first once I get my ult up, then as a semi carry when late game shows up. I usually go for high priority targets in teamfights while tagging as many people as possible with Track. And during ganks, I tend to wait until walk is off cooldown before striking, usually tagging them first.
What am I doing wrong, or, what can I do to improve?

get at least two levels in shuriken early on no matter what
also if your allies are retarded and picked a ton of melee heroes go vlads
if your enemies are intelligent and picked a ton of stuns go bkb
if you need even more big crits get mkb
if that's still not big enough for you get a rapier
Had a 50 minute stalemate-y game as Meepo. lost on the final push (baserace kinda thing) cause the servers shit themselves as WD ulted and all my meepoes just stood there and tanked it during the 8s of frozen game.
Fucking mad, because i bought back to defend the base and the lag had cleared all my control groups.
What the fuck is that shit?

Stacking a bunch of battlefury's on juggernaut is a lot of fun.
Stack Crits its much better.
Stack Crits its much better.
Stacking Mjollnirs is the best
Or alternatively, stack S&Y
Stack Crits its much better.
I want the damage, and cleave and regeneration is a great bonus
So yesterday when I picked Doom I got myself a shadow blade. Suddenly the warlock in the enemy team went completely spastic about it, like it was the worst item I could get.
He stopped laughing when he ate my ult each time before we initiated a teamfight.

Imo Boots -> PMS -> Urn -> Orchid with a Drum in between Urn and Orchid if you find you need a little more tankyness. Orchid can be gotten entirely from the sideshop (recipe excepted), gives him everything battlefury does while severely strengthening his ganking capabilities. I max Jinada first, Shuriken second (getting 2 early points in Shuriken) unless they've got people who respond fast and I need the fast fade time.

Shadow Blade is fucking legit on Doom. Double the fun if you go Refresher after that and act as your team's initiator.

Yeah, get first blood as Lifestealer because of a simple mistake by Windrunner soloing, then manage to use Hand of Midas on the lane creeps three times by the 7th minute.
