I'm intrigued. Going to need to see some gameplay footage and see if it's anything like the trailer (Looking at you Dead Island), but given that Naughty Dog is developing I think it's safe to say that whatever the end product is, it's going to be fun.
I hope it's actually about survival and not just an RPG.
And then Uncharted was a prequel to The Last of Us.
I think it's time to get a PS3.

They look like they are from cutscenes. But even in game, the engine Naughty Dog have developed is insanely detailed for what it is running on. They are truly technological wizards sent from the heavens. Some of the things they did on the PS2 with the Jak series was spectacular. For what was basically a launch title, Jak & Daxter had full streaming levels, a pretty good level of geometric quality and some pretty nice looking textures and animations to boot.
I would love for Naughty Dog to go over their old franchises just once more time. But they are following their audience and don't actually have development rights on some. The people who play this will be the people who played Uncharted in early adulthood, who played Jak & Daxter in their pre-teen/ teen years, who played Crash Bandicoot (up to 3) in their childhood. It's nice how they've followed us.
I really hope the gameplay is like Alan Wake. I loved that game and it seems like the same interface would do well for LoU. Still a shame it is PS3 only.

Cutscenes or not, that's still running in real-time, which is incredibly impressive.

I own both. Well, I've got a PS3 for Christmas and the exclusives on the PS3 have won me over. I really want to play MGS 4, Heavy Rain, Uncharted series, Infamous and this looks rather interesting.
The only two reasons I have a 360 is because my brother has got Kinnect and the new Alan Wake game that is meant to be coming out. Unless it's going multiplatform.

Why would you even get Halo 4, unless your a madman or a huge fanboy.
I mean, I love the Halo games, but the series needed to end and Bungie knew that. (Which is a step up from most game developers)

If you made a great game that made you rich and then made a squeal that did even better. Then created loads of hype on a third instalment wouldn't you keep it going? Hell I would in the end for the creators it's all about the money.
CoD is a prime example the amount of people that insult the game probably own MW3 them selves. I know myself it's a sucky game but I'll buy it at some point since I really like the characters in the game and it's mindless gameplay. But I know it's not worth the money.
But yeah, if you know you can sell a game that will bring in big money to a loyal fan base and the posers that pretend to hate the game. Developers will sure as hell make it.

I've had my eyes on this game since it was announced. My excitement grows every day, and I am definitely going to be pre-ordering this game some time later this month. I can't wait. I have a strong feeling that this is the survival adventure game we've all been waiting for.
