I always wanted to try out a DK, but I like my pally. I'm going to make a mage next.

Everyone hates death knights because the people that play them are ones that was like "yay i'm 55 now i can go dk", i.e. the people that play them doesn't know how to play them most of the time, and gives the death knights a bad look.

They think tanking involves frost spec and any weapon whatsoever.

The only reason I made a DK is so I could play with my friends who had toons on other servers around 55-60. Other than that, they're pretty boring.

I made one after my first 80 cause I was bored and all my alts were still in vanilla, haven't played much though, trying to find a good leveling pug kinda spec cause I don't want to make a terrible one myself, anyone know a good one by any chance?

oh this topic again, guess ill add my own comment being a Dk myself. I did bail on my Pally main when he got to 55, because i liked the premise of DKs at the time. Then I leveled my pally to 68, and now its just in rock stone. I think really, DKs are the new huntards of WoW. The noobs make me facepalm. I've seen: - Dual Wielding Blood - Dual Wielding Unholy - Spell Power Gear (plate) - Shit attutide, and general fail. Do these people learn anything from getting from 1 - 55 in the first place?

I doubt you'll be topping the DPS without them

My first level 80 was a Death Knight. However I never geared him past quest rewards and used him as a funding system for my next level 80, which was my warrior. Afterwards I decided to gear him and even with gear only obtainable via instances and triumph emblems, it's fun to do a nice steady 4k DPS, which is MORE than enough for the heroics I use him for.

Haha, I have no idea what half of the thing everyone here is talking about is. =P But I can understand that it would be quite bothersome for a bunch of idiots to use a class because of the power behind it, when they have no real skill.

Just when it was OP, idiots flocked to it and are stuck on it.

I hate dk tanks that use fast tanking weapons meant for War/Pala (for example: [url]http://www.wowhead.com/item=50268[/url]) I tell them their threat problems are caused by their weapon speed.. and they just say "noob".

The only reason I'm not leveling my 55 right now is because he's a hunter and I want that gear that gives an EXP boost for him so I can level fast. The DK is a lot easier to level for me since I can't really die with him. And (at least for me) everytime I play as a hunter, DKs pick me off after almost every kill I get.

Around level 55-60, DKs are still quite overpowered. What I really hate is dps DKs trying to tank when I'm tanking on my pally. YEAH HEY THANKS FOR DEATH GRIPPING THAT GUY OUT OF MY CONSECRATION WAY TO GO Fucks my aggro up.

It baffles me how I run into more DK's than any other class that simply don't read their spells. Running Mana-Tombs with a Death Knight who's idea of AoE tanking is "D&D, Icy Touch everything". No Plague Strike, no Pestilence. You'd think by level 55, they would learn that spells are worth reading.

(which is wrong, he needs to be smacked upside the head)

At level 70, I havent met a single good Death Knight tank. That si the only reason I dislike them, but if they are dps then great, I am leveling on currently as unholy and it is quite fun, just dont quite know what half of the attacks are yet but Ill pick it up :v:
