I have to agree with the earlier post about most death knights in instances spam death grip off the tanks. It goes away for most but its annoying as hell when some fucktard death grips the biggest guy out of the group before i can put any threat on him and then dies so the big ass guy kills the rest of the group.

We run ICC10/25 in our guild, Leader is a tank, and a DK. Nothing to say, He's way better than our pally tank. But I fucking hate DKs in PvP, I'm a hunter. All he needs to do is DG me. If Disengange doesn't work for whatever reason, I'm dead.

disengage -> concussive -> when he icy chains masters call -> scatter shot if he looks like hes gonna get close while hes doing this you should be spamming SS chimera, aimed and arcane

My first (and only) 80 was a DK. It was unintentional, though. When I got to 55 I decided to check the class out, ended up liking it a lot. Simple as that, really. I've received a lot of "wow, a good DK" from people in random/daily heroics, so apparently I'm doing something right. Its a tad ridiculous in Outland, when 95% of groups are DKs, but besides that I see no problem with them.

I enjoyed the DK. Anyone whom is biased towards a class in a video game that is made for your enjoyment is better off keeping their mouth shut.

I think most of the bad ones fade out after you get into the higher 60's level range. I like DK's but I agree that a lot of them are retarded at 58. On my realm there is way too many pallies who can't play for crap then there are DK's so I don't get a lot of hate

I went with the DK, and I love it. I am leveling as a tank until I hit 80. Then I will probably go dps. I get a bunch of compliments when I am tanking. they're always like "OMG A GOOD DK TANK." I feel awesome when people say that, because I know there are a bunch of people that don't know how to play a DK.

They're a direct counter to hunters and should die for that.

As a warlock, I have no problem with DKs. They're crazy easy to beat in PvP for me, since they do most of the work for me and grip me into Howl of Terror/Death Coil range. After that, they're basically fucked. What pisses me off about them is when a friendly DK grips an enemy melee class into our casters. It's not helpful, it's just annoying since we have to reposition ourselves out of melee range and most of the time the melee will just cut down a couple casters before the DK mashes his face on the keyboard enough to kill him. It's worse in PvE, since nearly every DK has the "I'm gonna prove to everyone that I'm a good DK!" mindset. We get it, you're l33t pr0 sk1llz, just shut up and run the instance.

The death knights that wear int gear to increase there I play and raid on my DK and say i write something useful on general/trade i get `Dk opinions dont matter` stop the hate im a person and imo i play well enough lay off the class just a few tards who ruin the impression of the class

DK was my first 80 in wotlk because i liked the fact it was a warrior with warlock traits(my favorite class) Was really fun in PvP, got to 1950 s6 was Belf so i had 3 silences, stopped playing on it because Dks are really pathetic because they dont bring anything special or useful to raids which i wanted to get into. So now i have a 80 Prot warrior, almost all epics in just 5 hours at 80 haha.

Every DK I've met so far has been a total prick. Nothing but insults come from them :frown:

I play DK as my main ever since Blizzard was unable to restore any of my healing gear to my Druid. Honestly, they excel well in Add killing and single target DPS. But all this goes down the drain when the person playing them is a dense fuck, which seems to be the common case.

DKs scare me. I mean, you get a little pink-pony tailed gnome, and turn her into a deathknight, and BAM. Scary as shit. Also, their voices get on my nerves.

Had a dk dps in a RDF group the other day. he was doing 200-300 dps at level 75 and wearing mostly spell power gear. when I said to him, "you're a DK, you don't need to use spell power" - he replied "yeah I do". I asked why, to which he responded "well I have spells lol :)" I face palmed so hard.

You don't need spell pen for PvE.

When you create a character they give you all your character info. and towards the bottom it's like. A warriors main stats are strength and stamina Or a mages main stat is intellect etc.

Most of the dk's I encounter are alts of people. A lot of people have 3 80s on my realm. I would say about 70% of the people do. I asked a few people with 3 80's why they rolled a dk and they said because its an easy 80, so they do dailys/proffesions easily without having to level something like a hunter to 65 to max out another proffesion. To put it simple it's mostly like this. DK as proffesion/bank donkey. Have a main class and a major alt. Dk is just for novelty and proffesion slots.
