If you do get death gripped without a blink, you need to block. and blocking for some of the duration of his anti-magic shell can be nice

Reason I dislike DKs, is because most of em are absolutely [B]shit[/B] at tanking. I've had a few gems here and there but most of them only use DnD and not Blood Boil and they can't hold aggro for shit.

I also hate when your fighting someone in pvp, 1v1 style, and a death knight thinking he is the coolest shit on the block comes and death grips your combatant.

As a mage, don't blink until he does death grip first And obviously as a death knight, don't death grip until he blinks.. Both classes have right abilities to save up blink / death grip, the mage has more abilities for this case, chains of ice can be a bitch tho.

The same thing applies to a warlock vs death knight, as soon as he death grips pop death coil or something of the sort like the demonic portal you have. There are always counters so it is stupid to complain about getting slaughtered by a death knight even though its the rant thread. Every class has its weakness's, even death knights

And I've hated DK's pretty much all along, and then one day I started thinking "Why do I hate dks?" So I made one, Been a caster since 2004, never had a melee class that was above lvl 44, except for a druid which doesn't count cuz I was only feral till lvl 58. But I really don't know what I'm doing with a dk, atleast I didn't when I started playing. But it's a pretty fun class, leveling rather quick by being a tank with the 2 heirloom pieces that gives 10% more xp.

Grip-happy DKs and their diseases fuck with my hunter's CC.

Met a dk through rdf, saw he was gemming spell power. Told him what he needed to gem as a unholy dk and directed him to elitist jerks. Nice to know some don't shit bricks when you try to help them

the DK in my guild is a good tank, otherwise I've seen very few good DK tanks.
