I tried Soul Ring on Axe and I wasn't a huge fan of it. Didn't feel tanky enough to be the main initiator. I prefer Drum since it gives you everything you want, although it's obviously a lot more expensive than a Soul Ring

[editline]14th April 2013[/editline] Compared to jinada that's what, 10.5 more damage per level assuming you do 70 damage early game?

Vanguard gives tankiness, regen, and a hefty bonus HP, which matters a lot on Axe. Obviously you can get both, but I only go that way when I'm fed (which happens often when I lane against a melee carry with a shitty support). Hood is a situational pickup if you're against heavy magic nukes, and generally I'll opt for a heart after I get my blink. Oh, and halberd works wonders on Axe

Missed her (blind hook into fog), hit something else: Their very fed Lifestealer who promptly threw a hissyfit.

On the topic of "oh god why did I cog", I was severely starved Clock vs rather fed Troll. As I wasn't much of use, I'd always try to hook him, cog him in, think good thoughts, die and proceed to watch as he doesn't know that if he were to attack cogs he'd be out almost right away.

You just have to get your levels fast, so you can seek for opportunities to try your luck as much as possible. Manapool is the only restriction. Also note that at lvl 16 with Ult rank 3, Fire Blast is only 6 seconds cooldown. So if your early game went decently enough and you got a level and gold lead, good mana regen like Bloodstone or Hex Stick will give you more Multicasts than Aghanim's Scepter.

Which heroes have lines that question your item purchases in one way or another? I know Nyx has one for blade mail, Viper for Orb of Venom and Troll for MoM but are there other ones I missed?

Grabbing Invis rune as Riki triggers one as well I believe.

Speaking about clockwerk, it happened the exact opposite to me Clock was on the enemy team, once he leaves mid he gets feed from two peoplewho were constantly whinning at each other, then every teamfight he would focus me down, and I was killing myself with exorcism and his blade mail also, managed to get a necrolyte killed with blademail as centaur :v:

My highest deny record is the game I was told how to do it, and I managed to pull it off 41 times. One of my first games. Which explains the dagon-blink dagger-treads on Windrunner.

My highest number of denies is still 36 with drow, it was AP and the other team had am, naix and pl I laned agaisnt am and made his life a hell :v:

man I wish someone would make some skeleton king items, I have like four different swords and nothing to accessorise with them :(

I just had a game where a guy on my team d/c'd and it was safe to leave. Two of my teammates and three opponents left right off the bat, leaving it 2v2. I would have won if my remaining teammate wasn't complete garbage.
