Hell my friend has never heard of Afraid of Monster and hes going crazy for Cry of Fear.

Honestly I'm glad they are doing it on goldsource. Even though I couldn't and don't want to imagine what they could do with the source engine, Afraid of Monsters had a certain charm to it. Well I guess charm isn't the correct word, but there was something about that game that just made me shit pyramid sized bricks. The way it was executed was truly a work of genius, and I could probably go on for hours about the small details that justifies that. Even though Cry of Fear seems to be the same type of thing, I have no problem with that. A sequel to Afraid of Monsters would be amazing.

My friend, dev of Ragnarok Arena, chills out with James a lot and they talk about the game a lot. I was in a call with both of them about a year ago and their conversation made me super excited for the mod. That excitement has refused to go away since.

AoM didn't scare me, but it was a fun mod. Hopefully CoF will be scarier. Also, Limed00d, I think I know you from somewhere, are you perhaps friends with a certain Vic, Jake and Jaybird?

Afraid of Monsters was hands down the scariest game i've played.
